full back Chimbonda stayed at Wigan Athletic for one season, scoring
twice in 37 appearances and left under a cloud after handing his
transfer request in soon after leaving the Highbury pitch on the last
day of the 2005-06 season. Joined Spurs in that summer after
protracted negotiations and has settled into the Tottenham side. |

Signed from Heerenveen in
Holland in the summer of 2007, Edman was a quick, hard tackling full
back, with an adventurous nature. Scored a stunning 40 yard goal
at Anfield, but left after just a year, when he joined Rennes in France.
Brought back to England by Wigan in 2008, Erik suffered a serious knee
injury in his first few games and took a year to come back to playing. |

Lee was at Spurs until 1980 and joined the Lancashire club as a coach for
a couple of months in December 2001-January 2002. |

Signed from Olympia in

than a year in the country and cost a whopping £12,000,000. |
