TEAM NEWS : -  Danny Rose is fit and ready to return to the side, with Kieran Trippier also keen to start after overcoming his groin injury, but he may not be up for selection just yet.  Victor Wanyama, Mousa Dembele and Davinson Sanchez are all progressing with their rehabilitation after injury.  Dele Alli carried a knock over from Wednesday's win over Internazionale, but should shake it off.
Spurs announce their first "fan Familiarisation" test event on Sunday December 16th, but it will be restricted to 6,000 winners of a ballot and will allow fans to move through the South Stand only.

Apart from a certain football match on Sunday, Spurs and Arsenal will battle for the signing of Hoffenheim midfielder Nadiem Amiri, 22, next summer.  Real Madris's interest in Christian Eriksen will bring Spurs GBP220 million if the player decides to leave, as that is the price the club have set should anyone want to buy him.  Internazionale and Juventus are both keen on Mousa Dembele.  Tottenham and Manchester City are both interested in the January signing of 21 year old Toulouse forward Adil Taoui.  Reports that Isco has fallen out with new Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari are linking Tottenham with a move for the 26 year old Spanish international.
The Daily Mirror reports that Daniel Levy's car was broken into in the Sainsbury's car park in Northumberland Park, as he had to park there while the ground is being finished.  His was one of seven club officials' cars that were stolen from.  There are rumours that a test event may be held at the new stadium on December 16th in readiness for receiving the full safety certificate from Haringey Council.

Our Under-19s lost out 2-4 to Internazionale in the UEFA Youth Cup at Hotspur Way this afternoon, with Spurs scoring through Troy Parrott and Jack Roles.
Former Spurs striker Robbie Keane announced that he was retiring from playing, after being named as part of new Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy's backroom staff.

SPURS TEAM NEWS : -  Jan Vertonghen is back in full training after his hamstring injury, although a similar injury will rule Davinson Sanchez out until the New Year.  Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier will both be sidelined by their respective groin injuries. 
Former Spurs striker Les Ferdinand has turned down the opportunity to be interviewed for the FA's Technical Director post.
Leeds United are said to be interested in buying Fernando Llorente in the January transfer window for GBP4 million.

Spurs are hoping to beat Arsenal to the January signing of Espanyol’s 23 year old Spanish centre-back Mario Hermoso; Spurs, Southampton and Manchester City are interested in Sunderland's 19 year old striker Josh Maja, while the club are also reported as watching.Genk's 6' 4" tall, Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge, who is 20 years old.  Also in Belgium, Gent's Georgian 19 year old midfielder Giorgi Chakvetadze is a target for Tottenham, who might use him as Christian Eriksen's replacement, should he lave and is yet to begin contract talks amid rumours of \Real M\drid making a January move for the Danish international.   Paulo Gazzaniga came off the bench as a 59th minute substitute to make his Argentina debut in their 2-0 friendly win over Mexico and Erik Lamela played 59 minutes of the match, while Juan Foyth was not called upon from the bench.
Cameron Carter-Vickers played all of the US National side's 0-1 defeat by Italy in a friendly played in Genk, Belgium, while Hugo Lloris was in goal for France in a 1-0 friendly win over Uruguay and Moussa Sissoko came on as a 93rd minute substitute.  Kyle-Walker Peters played 71 minutes of England Under-21s' 5-1 away win against Denmark this evening in a friendly.

Spurs have announced that Fan Liaison Officer Jonathan Waite died suddenly yesterday.  Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
Former Spurs midfielder Paul Gascoigne has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman on a train in Yorkshire in August this year.
Tottenham are reported to be keen on signing 20 year old Croatian international and Wolfsburg winger Josip Brekalo, while also setting their sights on bringing Borussia Dortmund's American international midfielder Christian Pulisic to White Hart Lane in January.

Eric Dier and Harry Kane played all of England's 2-1 Nations League win over Croatia at Wembley this afternoon, with the Spurs striker scoring the winning goal that sees them promoted to the top tier of European football.  Dele Alli came off the bench in the 63rd minute and Harry Winks was an unused substitute.  Toby Alderweireld was on the pitch for the whole embarrassing 90 minutes, as Belgium surrendered a 2-1 lead to lose 2-5 to Switzerland and miss out on promotion from their group. 
Atletico Mineiro talent Bruno Roberto is a target for Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Spurs, with other clubs keenly looking at the 18 year old forward.  Scouts from Arsenal and Spurs were reportedly at Wembley to run the rule over Croatia's goalkeeper - 28 year old 6' 7" tall Gent keeper Lovre Kalinic.  The Spanish press claim Liverpool and Spurs are both assessing Real Sociedad centre-back Diego Llorente, with the 25 year old former Real Madrid player set to leave the La Liga club.

Former Spurs midfielder Jim Iley passed away today aged 82.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.

Spurs and Arsenal are reported to be having talks in London with a representative from Sampdoria about the transfer of Danish central defender Joachim Andersen.
Christian Eriksen starred in Denmark's 2-1 win over Wales in Cardiff tonight in the Nations League..  Ben Davies was an unused substitute for Wales.  Hugo Lloris kept Holland down to a 2-0 win over France in Rotterdam in the same competition, with Moussa Sissoko being used as a 65th minute substitute for the French side.

Toby Alderweireld was in Belgium's side for all of the 2-0 away win over Iceland in the Nations League tonight.

Tottenham's Under-21s lost 2-3 to Portsmouth at Fratton Park tonight in an EFL Trophy group match tonight.  Harvey White and Jamie Bowden were the Spurs goal-scorers.
Kieran Trippier has had to withdraw from the England senior squad with a groin injury, while Josh Onomah has pulled out of the England Under-21 squad, being coached by Sol Campbell.
Spurs are being linked with a move for Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez, a 22 year old Uruguayan with a GBP44.5 million release clause in his contract, while they are also said to be interested in a move for 17 year old Vilius Piliukaitis, who is on loan at Blackburn Rovers from FK Panevezys of Lithuania.  There are also reports that the club are keen on Red Bull Salzburg's 20 year old Malian international midfielder Amadou Haidara and  Cagliari central midfielder Nico Barella, with the 21 year old reputed to be priced at GBP35 million.

The club have been granted permission to play their "home" games at Wembley indefinitely until the new stadium is completed.  The capacity will be capped at.51,00, although the stadium will make an application to Brent Council to increase the attendance for some games.  Tottenham will make a further announcement about the progress with the new stadium in December.

TEAM NEWS : - .Mousa Dembele will probably not play again before the turn of the year after injuring ankle ligaments at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday and Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose are still out injured.  Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama are both back in training and will be assessed as to their fitness for the match at Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.
Harry Kane, Harry WInks, Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Kieran Trippier are included in England's senior squad for the friendly against the USA and Croatia next week at Wembley.
Former Spurs defender and now club ambassador Paul Miller has said he thinks it will be February before Tottenham play their first match at the new stadium.
Tottenham are reported to be interested in Genoa defender Koray Gunter, 24; 25 year old Espanyol striker Borja Iglesias; French 24 year old striker Sebastien Haller of Eintracht Frankfurt and they are still be linked with FC Porto midfielder Hector Herrera and Boca Juniors' Colombian midfielder Wilmar Barrios.

A Tottenham fan has made a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority that Arsenal are advertising themselves as a North London football club.  A spokesperson for the ASA didn't say, " We have issued the persons concerned an advice notice and told them not to make such geographically incorrect statements."  ...
