   TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TEAM NEWS : -  Federico Fazio will be available after sitting out Thursday's game because of suspension, but Kyle Naughton serves the second of his two match ban for getting sent off in the last home Premier League match versus Stoke City.  A number of players are now back in training and they will be monitored for their fitness to see if they can return.  These include Danny Rose, Younes Kaboul, Emmanuel Adebayor and Etienne Capoue.  Kyle Walker is still out with his return from hip surgery not happening for a couple more weeks.
   EVERTON TEAM NEWS : -  The Toffees could be without Steven Naismith, Leighton Baines, Gareth Barry and Steven Pienaar, who will all face late fitness tests.  Ruled out of the game are defenders John Stones, Antolin Alcaraz and Bryan Oviedo as well as midfielder Darron Gibson.  Arouna Kone has returned form injury, but is most likely to be a substitute.

   Tottenham are being charged by UEFA's Disciplinary committee after three men ran onto the pitch last night.  All were arrested for entering the field of play and one is alleged to have been charged with handling stolen goods.
   Roberto Soldado and Mousa Dembele will not face punishment from UEFA for trying to stop the morons who ran on the pitch as it was nto include din the referee's report.
   AS Roma are keen to sign Vlad Chiriches, with a loan to the Italian side likely in January, with a right to buy in the summer..

   Tottenham announced that the former Southampton Head of Scouting and Recruitment Paul Mitchell has joined the club as Head of Recruitment and Analysis.
   TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TEAM NEWS : - Nabil Bentaleb is back in the squad after a few weeks out with an ankle injury, but Etienne Capoue, Younes Kaboul and Emmanuel Adebayor are all doubtful for the game with Partizan Belgrade.  Federico Fazio is suspended after his sending off against Asteras in the last Europa League match.

   Tottenham's Under-18s beat West Ham United 4-3 at Hotspur Way today.  The Spurs goals came from Joe Pritchard, Anton Walkes, Ismail Azzaoui and Anthony Georgiou.
   Tottenham face Blackburn Rovers in the Third Round of the FA Youth Cup and the game will kick off at 19.00 at Dagenham & Redbridge FC on Monday 8th December.
   Former Spurs striker Darren Bent has joined Brighton and Hove Albion on loan from Aston Villa.

   A Spurs XI drew 4-4 with Norwegian side Rosenborg at Hotspur Way in a friendly today.  Harry Winks scored twice (one a penalty) and the two other goals came from Nathan Oduwa and Will Miller.
   Spurs are being linked with Chelsea and Liverpool, with an interest in Internazionale's 21 year old Argentinan striker Mauro Icardi, who would cost around £28 million, according to the Express.
   The paper also reckons Spurs and Liverpool will challenge Internazionale for the signing of Paris St. Germain's £17 million rated Argentinan striker Ezequiel Lavazzi, with the 29 year old wanted in Italy to ease the pressure on Icardi !!

   Tottenham are being linked with 23 year old Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric, who plays for Rijeka.  The forward is out of contract next summer and has a £4 million release clause in his deal, but both Milan clubs are watching his situation with interest according to the Daily Star.
   Two 15 year old Belgian players are also mentioned as Spurs targets today.  Striker Adrien Bongiovanni and defender Zinho Vanheusden are both with Standard Liege and while the Belgian club would want to retain their services, Internazionale are also interested in snapping them up. 
   Spurs and Internazionale are interested in signing Marseille's French international striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
   Emmanuel Adebayor played for Togo in the 1-3 defeat to Ghana in the African Cup of Nations qualifying match today.
   A Spurs XI lost to Southend United at Hotspur Way 0-3 today, with Tottenham goalkeeper Harry Voss saving a penalty.

   The London Evening Standard reports that a survey of Spurs fans reveals that 60% would not attend games at MK Dons should the club move there while the new Northumberland Park stadium is being built.  135 out of 200 said they would not travel to Milton Keynes to watch the club if they relocate temporarily.
   Hugo Lloris was an unused substitute for France, who beat Sweden 1-0 in a friendly in Marseille tonight.
   Denmark lost 0-2 to Romania in Bucharest in tonight's friendly match.  Vlad Chiriches played 70 minutes for Romania and Christian Eriksen was an unused substitute for the Danes.
   Erik Lamela came on as a 61st minute substitute in Argentina's 1-0 friendly win over Portugal at Old Trafford tonight, while Federico Fazio was an unused substitute.

   OTHER NEWS ... FIFA have laid charges in a Swiss court over corruption in the awarding of the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar ... 

   Harry Kane scored twice for England Under-21s in their 2-3 friendly defeat in Brest tonight.  Alex Pritchard played the first half and Tom Carroll completed the 90 minutes for the Under-21s.
   It is believed that Southampton's Head of Recruitment - Paul Mitchell - has handed in his resignation and is set to join Tottenham to be re-united with Mauricio Pochettino according to the BBC.
   In return, the paper carries a story saying that if Tottenham want Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez in January, then they will expect Harry Kane and Andros Townsend to be part of the deal.
   Teo Gutierrez, the RIver Plate striker and Colombian international, has been watched by Spurs scouts, who flew to Argentina last week, the Mirror reports.
   AS Roma are the latest club interested in Hugo Lloris, with a £20 million price tag mentioned.

   The Mail on Sunday claims that Roberto Soldado will also be up for sale in January, as well as Emmanuel Adebayor, with David Moyes' new club Real Sociedad keen on taking the striker back to Spain.  The Mail says that they will be replaced with West Bromwich Albion's England Under-21 striker Saido Berahino and Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez.
   Mauricio Pochettino was in Barcelona last night to watch their B team take on Numancia, with a possible target being young winger Adama Traore.
   Juventus, Internazionale and AS Roma are all said to be interested in signing Erik Lamela in the January transfer window, the Sunday Mirror claims.
   Ben Davies was an unused substitute in Wales' 0-0 Euro 2016 qualifying draw with Belgium in Brussells tonight, with Jan Vertonghen doing a 90 minute shift for the home team and Nacer Chadli playing 62 minutes before being substituted.  Mousa Dembele was an unused substitute for Belgium.

   Emmanuel Adebayor was a scorer from the penalty spot for Togo, but they lost 1-4 to Guinea in the African Cup of Nations qualifying match today.
   Republic of Ireland Under-21s lost 0-1 to the USA in Marbella, with Kenny McEvoy playing the first half of the match for the Irish.
   Kyle-Walker Peters played all of England Under-19s 3-1 friendly win over Poland in Gdansk and Joshua Onomah was a 79th minute substitute.
   Filip Lesniak came on as a 67th minute substitute for Slovakia Under-19s in their 3-0 European Under-19 Championship qualifier against Hungary today.
   Spurs are being linked with a £25 million move for Chelsea's German winger Andre Schurrle, along with Liverpool.
   Manchester City's Matija Nastasic has been offered to Spurs and Arsenal for just £5 million, but he has a wage bill of £75,000 a week.
   The Mirror claims that Mauricio Pochettino is looking to sell Emmanuel Adebayor in the January transfer window.
   In the Metro, they reckon Manchester United are ready to let midfielder Ander Herrera leave after just six months and for a s little as £19 million, with Spurs keen to land the Spanish international.

   MEHSTG's no-spin story ... Hans-Joachim Eckhardt, who "mis-interpreted" Michael Garcia's report into FIFA corruption showed today where the problem may have arisen.  The German Judge said, "I'm surprised, not shocked. I'm a long time in the job here. I don't think anything surprises me."  Lost in translation ??  I wouldn't be surprised.

   Andros Townsend has left the England squad after suffering an ankle injury and he will not be available for the two international matches in the coming week.
   Eric Dier has asked to leave the England Under-21 squad to concentrate on training to play at centre-half rather than at right back for club and country.  Manager Gareth Southgate agreed to this and as Dier was not likely to play, it was decided that this would be the best option for him in the long run.
   England Under-21s played Portugal at Turf Moor in a friendly tonight and won 3-1.  Tom Carroll played the whole game, while Alex Pritchard was a 73rd minute substitute.  Harry Kane was an unused sub.
   Newcastle United, West Ham United and Spurs are reported to be interested in former Newcastle and Chelsea striker Demba Ba in January.
   Stoke City are believed to be interested in Aaron Lennon should he be allowed to leave Spurs.

   MEHSTG's no-spin story ... FIFA's report on corruption in the bidding process for the 2018 and 2022 World Cup Finals has been released, but has been appealed against by the man who compiled the evidence, as he claims it has been mis-interpreted.  What a farce for the organisation who runs World football !!

   A consortium of businessmen from the California, backed by the Carlyle Group - one of the most wealthy companies in the States - are said in the London Evening Standard to be talking to Joe Lewis about buying out ENIC's stake in the club.  The take over would still leave Daniel Levy as chairman according to the report.
   The Daily Mirror reckons Spurs will lead the chase fro Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph in the January transfer window, as the England man would be able to leave on a free in the summer of 2015.
   Various reports are also linking Spurs with a £19.8 million move for Bayern Munich's Swiss international striker Xherdan Shaqiri in the January transfer window.
   Paulinho is said to be considering his future with Tottenham and may be ready to return to Brazil.
   Kyle Walker has returned to training after being out for eight and a half months with a pelvic condition.  Bongani Khumalo has also resumed training after a long injury.
   Jan Vertonghen played 90 minutes and Mousa Dembele 45 minutes of Belgium's 3-1 friendly win over Iceland in Brussells tonight.  Nacer Chadli was an unused substitute.
   Erik Lamela was a 77th minute substitute in Argentina's 2-1 win over Croatia in a friendly tonight at the Boleyn Ground, while Federico Fazio played the whole match for Argentina.

   Tottenham and Aston Villa have been fined £20,000 each for failing to control their players when a melee occurred in the Premier League match at Villa Park on 2nd November.
   The away game at Crystal Palace on 10th January will now kick off at 17:30 to allow live coverage on Sky Sports.
   Kyle Naughton will miss league games against Hull City and Everton later this month after an appeal against his red card picked up in Sunday's loss to Stoke City was not upheld.
   Daniel Levy is said to be ready to tempt Paul Mitchell from his post as Head of Recruitment to a similar post at White Hart Lane, where he would link up again with Mauricio Pochettino.
   Tottenham may well make a move for Mexican central defender Hector Moreno in January when the Espanyol man returns to action after breaking his leg in the World Cup finals.  The story in the Daily Mail goes on to say Pochettino is still keen on Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin and striker Jay Rodriguez, who might cost a combined fee of £20 million, with the club raising some money for those deals with a clear out including Paulinho, Andros Townsend, Vlad Chiriches and Aaron Lennon.
   Kenneth McEvoy has returned to Tottenham after his loan spell at Peterborough United had been terminated early.  Without a start with the League One club since late September, it was felt that he was better off coming back to Spurs.

   Emmanuel Adebayor has criticised the Tottenham supporters at White Hart Lane, saying their negative attitude has made playing at home no fun.
   Emmanuel Adebayor has allegedly been criticised by his team-mates for happily chatting with two Newcastle United players directly after the club's 1-2 loss two weeks ago and he is alleged to have invited them into the Spurs dressing room.
   Tottenham are one of a number of clubs watching Fulham youngster George Williams.  The 19 year old winger is also attracting interest from Arsenal, West Ham United and Everton.
   Arsenal and Spurs are rumoured to have entered the chase for Barcelona right back Dani Alves.

   The Daily Mail claims that cash problems has led Jimmy Greaves to put his World Cup 1966 winners medal up for sale at Southeby's in London next week.  The medal is up for auction just five years after a campaign to award medals to those players who did not play in the final was successful.
   Spurs could be interested in Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph, who is reported to be ready to tell his club that he will not be signing a new contract when his current deal expires in the summer.  Liverpool and Everton are both said to be interested too according to the Daily Express.
