Spurs,
along with Aston Villa, Everton and Leeds United are said to be the
clubs who want the Premier League to be lenient with clubs how go into
administration. Six of the 20 clubs voted for a nine point
deduction should clubs have to resort to the administrators, while
some others favoured the penalty, but there were objections on
slipping into administration for reasons beyond their control (i.e.
another club fails to pay a transfer fee). Ironically, if Leeds
go into receivership in the Premier League, the London Evening

Gardner has been called up into the England squad for the friendly
against Denmark on Sunday after Gareth Southgate pulled out with
injury. Sven Goran Eriksson said he had watched the Spurs
defender on several occasions and was aware that he had a very good
game on Saturday. The England coach said he would take the
opportunity to have a look at the player at close quarters and he said
it was an opportunity for the player to show what he could do.
As
Charlton Athletic's match against Chelsea has been moved from Saturday
to Sunday, their home game against Tottenham will now be put back

him to tell the London Evening Standard that he believes the caretaker

Dean
Richards believes that Helder Postiga will get goals for Spurs, but
needs a bit of luck. The Spurs defender said that the Portugal
striker was getting into the right positions and the keeper did well
on the two one-on-ones on Saturday, but he thought his work-rate was
good and he is prolific in training, so it should all fall into place
for Postiga once the first one hits the net.
Chris
Waddle has told the Sun newspaper that Spurs need stability in the
manager's position to catch up with Arsenal and it might take ten

another European club in the New Year and although grateful for

getting a move to a decent European league if he plays as he did in
the reserves on Monday.
