In the quarter finals of the League Cup, Tottenham have been drawn away to Arsenal with the match to be played in the week starting 17th December.
AS Roma and West Ham United London are both reported to be interested ins signing Victor Wanyama in January.

Dele Alli has signed a new deal to extend his current deal until 2014.
TEAM NEWS : -  West Ham United London will be missing Jack Wilshere, Andy Carroll, Andriy Yarmolenko, Winston Reid, Carlos Sanchez, Manuel Lanzini, although Pedro Obiang had recovered form a knock.  Mark Noble's sending off on Saturday rules him out of this game.  While it is only 48 hours after the Wembley meeting with Manchester City, Mauricio Pochettino looks like he might start Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli, with other subs from that game starting the League Cup tie.  There may also be some youngsters in the match-day squad.

Liverpool and Spurs are expected top contest the signing of Lazio defender Adam Marusic, while Ajax keeper Andre Onana is another player being linked with Tottenham. 
Having sacked their manager Julen Lopetegui, Real Madrid are keen to bring in Mauricio Pochettino as their new boss very soon, but Antonio Conte and Roberto Martinez are also on the La Liga side's wanted list
UEFA are said to be concerned about the condition of the Wembley pitch ahead of next Tuesday's Champions League tie against PSV Eindhoven.
Two NFL games will be staged at the new White Hart Lane stadium next season, it has been announced.
Former Tottenham Head of Recruitment Paul Mitchell, now with RB Leipzig, has not been contacted by Manchester United about joining them in a similar position was in today's "news".

It has been announced that Glenn Hoddle suffered a heart attack when waiting to appear on a BT Sport programme yesterday and only the swift first aid given by a member of the studio staff gave him a chance of making it to hospital.

Spurs have announced that the new stadium will not be ready until the New Year, so will continue to play matches at Wembley until the end of December at least.  Having visited the ground on Wednesday, there still appears to be a lot of work to do to make it safe and I will report on my visit with pictures over the weekend..
TEAM NEWS : -  Spurs will continue to be without Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen, but Dele Alli has returned to training and Mauricio Pochettino will make a decision on Monday as to whether he starts or is in the squad.

Tottenham drew 2-2 with PSV Eindhoven at the Phillips Stadion tonight in the Champions League.  For a match report click here.
A late equaliser by Jaden Brown earned Spurs Under-18s a 2-2 draw away to PSV Eindhoven with the other goal scored by Paris Maghoma, after Jack Roles had earlier had a penalty saved.
In other Spurs news, Eric Dier and Dele Alli are to appear in a charity version of the Channel 4 show "Gogglebox" this Friday (26.10.18).

Rumours today are following Sam Allardyce's lead and suggest Barcelona are looking at Eric Dier as a potential replacement for Sergio Busquets, while Spurs are still looking at La Liga with their target Malcom still making the media and the stories about Bradley Dack and Nathan Ake still keep coming.  Chelsea and Spurs are linked with Eintracht Frankfurt's 20 year old Serbian striker Luka Jovic, while Tottenham apparently still want to sign Jack Grealish of Aston Villa and will return to the Midlands club with an offer for the midfielder in January.
The club are reported to have extended their financing by GBP100 million to cover the delays in completion, taking the total to GBP500 million.

Spurs Under-18s thrashed Aston Villa 6-1 at Hotspur Way this morning in the Premier Under-18 League.  There were goals for Troy Parrott 2, Armando Shashoua 2, Dilan Markanday and Luis Binks after Spurs had gone a goal behind.

Spurs are said to have everything in place to sign Boca Juniors midfielder Wilmar Barrios, the Colombian defensive midfielder in January, for €23 million, while Argentinean Juan Foyth is heavily rumoured to be joining Leeds United in January.  Former transfer target Malcom may be back in Tottenham's sights, with a €50 million offer said to be on the table to Barcelona for the Brazilian attacking midfielder.
Jack Roles scored the only goal of the game as Tottenham's Under-23s beat Leicester City at Hotspur Way 1-0 this afternoon in the Premier League 2.

Ben Davies represented Wales in their 1-0 away win over the Republic Of Ireland in Dublin in a Nations League match tonight, while Hugo Lloris was in goal for France as they won 2-1 against Germany tonight in Paris in the same competition.  Toby Alderweireld starred for Belgium in their 1-1 home draw with Holland in the Nations League.  Meanwhile in the Under-21 European Championship qualifier, England beat Scotland away 2-0 with Josh Onomah starting for England.  Lucas Moura was an unused substitute for Brazil, who beat Argentina 1-0 in a friendly in Saudi Arabia today.  Heung-Min Son played all of South Korea's 2-2 home draw with Panama today.

International week is here and England took on Croatia in an empty stadium in Rijeka in the Nations League, drawing 0-0, with Harry Kane and Eric Dier playing the full 90 minutes, while Kieran Trippier and Harry Winks were unused substitutes.  Lucas Moura came on at half-time in Brazil's 2-0 away friendly win over Saudi Arabia, Toby Alderweireld finished the 90 minutes for Belgium in their 2-1 Nations League win over Switzerland and South Korea beat Uruguay 2-1 in a friendly, with Heung-Min Son in the side.  Davinson Sanchez was in Colombia's side that won 4-2 away in America, with Cameron Carter-Vickers an unused sub for the US national team.

Ben Davies played 62 minutes of Wales' 1-4 home friendly defeat against Spain at the Millennium stadium tonight, while Hugo Lloris captained France to a 2-2 home draw with Iceland in a friendly.
Spurs are reported to have "laid the groundwork" for a move for Cedric Bakambu of Beijing Guoan, a 27 year old striker, who could cost up to GBP74 million.  Doesn't sound like a Tottenham type transfer and the club haven't been good at laying the groundwork lately, if the new stadium is anything to go by.  Arsenal and Tottenhama re said to be keen on Manchester United defender Eric Bailly if he is allowed to leave Old Trafford.
Jan Vertonghen has been reported as being unavailable until December after suffering a hamstring injury at Huddersfield Town.
Danny Rose has withdrawn from the England squad with the injury he picked up on Saturday in the game against Cardiff City.
Troy Parrott scored a Panenka penalty against Bosnia & Herzegovina in a 3-1 home Under-19 Championship qualifier today.

TEAM NEWS : -  Tottenham will be facing Barcelona tomorrow without Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen, Serge Aurier and Mousa Dembele.  Hugo Lloris could well be ready to return to first team action after he has recovered from his hamstring injury.   Barcelona go into the game without defender Samuel Umtiti and winger Sergi Roberto.

Spurs are reported to be re-entering the race to sign Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot in January.  The father of 15 year old Bryne goalkeeper Isak Midttun Solberg has claimed that his son has been offered a three-year deal.  The young Norwegian stopper was on trial with Spurs in the summer and impressed the Academy coaches.  Fernando Llorente has said that he intends to leave for Athletic Bilbao when his contract ends next summer and he will be a free agent.
Spurs are reported to be without Luke Amos for the rest of the season after the young midfielder suffering a serious knee injury.
