Spurs
were one of three Premier League clubs to have scouts at FC
Porto's 1-0 victory over Tondela, believed to have been
running the rule over midfielder Hector Herrera,
although it could have been left back Alex Telles and
the representatives have been busy, reportedly in Italy to
watch Genoa's 23 year old Polish midfielder Krzysztof
Piatek or it was Lazio's 23 year old midfielder
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic they were watching as his side
won 4-1.
Rennes winger Ismalia Sarr has been linked, as
has Sampdoria defender, Joachim Andersen - a 22 year
old Dane. Having seen interest from big European clubs
push the potential asking price for Ajax pair Frenkie de
Jong and Mattijs de Lijt head towards GBP100
million, they could look elsewhere in Holland, with PSV
Eindhoven duo of winger Steven Bergwijn and defensive
midfielder Jorrit Hendrix being equally impressive,
but coming under the price tags on the heads of the
Amsterdam players.
Former Spurs
defender Dean Austin has been sacked by Northampton
Town.
