expected a quiet day for Spurs, with a lot of business
already done.

joined QPR on season long loans, but a move for Emmanuel
Adebayor failed to be completed.
RUMOURS
Spurs were said to have made a £15 million bid for Javier

long loan for the forward.

Emmanuel Adebayor to Queens Park Rangers.
Sky Sports reckon Spurs are still trying to sign Zenit St.
Petersburg striker Hulk.
It is reported that Christian Eriksen turned down a
move to Paris St. Germain to come to Tottenham.
Atletico Madrid and Everton were both keen on the Danish
midfielder, who plumped for a move to White Hart Lane as his
preference.
Tom Ince's transfer fee has risen to £10 million
according to the Sun, but they do go along with the line
that he will be loaned back to Blackpool for the rest of the
season if the signing does go through.
Another midfield Tom, this time Tom Carroll, looked
to be heading for QPR on loan for a season to get some
regular games ... albeit in the Championship.
Spurs and Arsenal were said to be vying for 17 year old PSV
Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali, who would cost
around £9 million.
Tottenham allegedly made a £7 million bid for Nicolas
Spolli, the Argentinian Catania defender.
Spurs allegedly offered Chelsea £15 million plus Emmanuel
Adebayor for Fernando Torres tonight.
They were also keen on taking Demba Ba on loan from
Chelsea, but the West London club would not have that.

Etienne Capoue's injury was not as bad as first
thought and he has been diagnosed as having a sprained
ankle, which will keep him out for four weeks.
Spurs Under-21s lost 1-2 at White Hart Lane to Norwich City,
with the Tottenham goal scored by Lewis Holtby.
