FIRST TEAM : -  Tottenham won the Audi Cup tonight 6-5 on penalties after a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich.  For a match report click here.

RUMOURS : -   Linfield's 15 year old attacking midfielder Charlie Allen is on trial with Spurs at the moment, although he has been chased by three other top Premier League clubs and Leicester City.  Tottenham and Southampton have both approached AS Monaco about the availability of their teenage defender Benoit Badiashile and with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United also keen on the 18 year old, the Ligue 1 club are not keen to let him go unless a massive bid was made for him.  Spurs are once more being linked with a move for Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa, who was with Cardiff City last season on loan.  West Ham United London are also keen on the La Liga man, with a fee of GBP25 million mentioned in the Spanish press.. 

AWARDS : -  Mauricio Pochettino is up for Best Coach and Harry Kane for Best Player in FIFIA's Best 2019 Football Awards.

SPURS XI : -  A very young Spurs XI visited Enfield Town FC tonight and lost 0-2.

RUMOURS : -   The Star on Sunday makes a spurious claim that Tottenham are interested in Olympique Lyonnais striker and former Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore.  The 23 year old is also said to be a target for West Ham United London.  Newcastle United's hopes of signing Danny Rose appear to have evaporated with the club unable to meet any salary demands the England left back may have.  AS Roma and Manchester united are considering making moves for Toby Alderweireld, while Juventus are keen on signing Christian Eriksen allegedly.

RUMOURS : -  Paulo Dybala transfer rumours have continued today with Manchester United entering the picture, as Juventus may be keen on signing Romelu Lukaku and the Belgian striker could be used in a deal to tempt Dybala to Gold Trafford.   The future of Toby Alderweireld is discussed, with some conjecturing that he might run his contract down and leave for free at the end of the coming season, allowing him to negotiate a signing on fee.  Someone asked new Atletico Madrid signing Joao Felix if he could move to Spurs.  A random question, just having joined for GBP113 million, but the Portuguese striker said one day it might be a possibility.  Also at Atletico, Kieran Trippier has been telling the Press that things behind the scene prompted him to leave the club and has been hitting back at Spurs with back-handed criticism by saying it is a world-class set-up there and that there is no better coach to learn from as a defender.

ACADEMY : -   16 year old goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi has signed a three year deal with Glasgow Celtic.

RUMOURS : -   It is reported that a GBP45 million move for Argentine striker Paulo Dybala has been rejected by Juventus, but as an alternative the media in Italy reckon that Spurs would be willing to pay GBP54 million for Ajax winger David Neres, the Brazilian 20 year old.
There is a report about Arsenal's latest signings - Dani Ceballos and William Saliba - and why they joined the South London club rather than Tottenham.  Spurs would not cede to Ceballos' demands about playing time on loan from Real Madrid and they did not want to loan Saliba back to St. Etienne for a season if the deal had gone through.

FIRST TEAM : -  Kieran Trippier signed for Ateltico Madrid for anywhere between GBP21.7 million and GBP20 million today.  Having sold the right back, Mauricio Pochettino has said that he is happy with Kyle Walker-Peters, Serge Aurier and Juan Foyth, so will not necessarily be looking to buy a replacement.

FIRST TEAM : -  Danny Rose has been left out of the touring party heading for Singapore, while Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen are included.

RUMOURS : -   Toby Alderweireld's move to AS Roma seems in line to go ahead, with Tottenham looking to take 20 year old midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo as part of the deal adding some cash to go to the Serie A club in the process.  Kieran Trippier has had a medical at Atletico Madrid and looks set to play at the Metropolitano stadium next season after a fee of around GBP20 million has been mentioned in the media, which could start movement on the transfer merry-go-round. During discussions over the deal, Atletico have said to have offered Tottenham Argentine striker Angel Correa, although it is not known if Spurs want him.  Rumours of Tottenham's interest in bringing Gareth Bale back to N17 for GBP54 million have been rubbished by the player's agent.    And Atletico are now joining the clubs interested in Christian Eriksen.

RUMOURS : -   Spurs are one of many clubs monitoring the situation of 21 year old CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov, who would cost around GBP20 million.  Junior Firpo, the Real Betis left back, is said to be a 30 million Euros target for Spurs, Real Madrid and Liverpool according to the local press in Sevilla.  A deal worth GBP48 million is reportedly ready to go for AS Roma's 21 year old midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, who had said he wanted to stay in Italy, but is now said to be ken to move to Tottenham in a deal that would be made up of Toby Alderweireld (25 million Euros) and 20 million Euros cash.  It is believed that the Serie A club have made a cheeky GBP18 million offer for the Belgian defender, which unsurprisingly has been rejected.  The Spanish media are thinking that Giovani Lo Celso could be about to complete his move to Spurs, with Real Betis believed to be ready to spend GBP30 million on Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Nabil Fekir as his replacement.

UNDER-23s : -  Tottenham's Development side drew 2-2 away at Ebbsfleet United this afternoon thanks to an own goal and a late equaliser from Elliott Thorpe.  Former Southend United keeper Ted Smith featured in goal for Spurs, after being released by the Shrimpers at the end of last season.  One player who might be moving out soon, could be Vincent Janssen, who it is reported is a target for Monterrey in Mexico, with a deal agreed apparently !!

UNDER-21s : -  The EFL draw had pitched our Under-23s in with Ipswich Town and Gillingham of League One and League Two side Colchester United.  Tottenham are not allowed to play at home, so the matches will all be at their opponents' grounds on dates and at times to be arranged.

RUMOURS : -  Tashan Oakley-Boothe is attracting a lot of interest with Huddersfield Town, Leeds United, Stoke City and Reading all rumoured to be keen on signing the young Spurs midfielder.  One link out of left field is right back Dani Alves allegedly being approached by Spurs after being released by Paris Saint Germain, who would be a free agent, but at 36 would he be the sort of player to fit into the project at the club or would his experience pay dividends ?  The Sun report that Atletico Madrid are keen on buying Kieran Trippier for GBP25 million, which perhaps makes more sense about the Alves move, but Juventus have revived their interest in the England international.

FIRST TEAM : -  A number of first team players were back in pre-season training today, with others to join as they return after international action over the summer.

CONTRACTS : -  Ben Davies and Harry Winks both signed extensions to their existing contracts to go through until 2024.

RUMOURS : -   AS Roma are reported to be interested in signing Moussa Sissoko and have sounded out the potential of Tottenham selling the French midfielder.  Some unfounded rumours about Kalvin Phillips of Leeds United joining the club are circulating on the Net today, while the interest in Everton full back Lucas Digne has been resurrected.  Tottenham are reported to have made an offer of GBP20.6 million plus Toby Alderweireld (worth GBP25 million) for AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, but the player is said to prefer a move to Juventus. 

ACADEMY : -  Spurs have had a reshuffle in the Academy Coaching team, with some new arrivals.  Ryan Mason returns to the club in an official capacity, as an Academy Coach with responsibility for the Under-19 UEFA Youth League side.  Former Portsmouth and Bolton Wanderers full back Matt Taylor joins as Under18 Coach, while former Watford defender Nigel Gibbs rejoins Spurs as Assistant Head of Player Development (U17-U23).  Former youth team defender Chris Riley will move into the Academy Coaching team as well as continuing his Under-18 fitness coach role and Troy Archibald-Henville moves up from part-time to full-time coach with younger age groups as well as looking after players making the step up from Under-18 to Under-23.

INTERNATIONALS : -  Serge Aurier was an unused substitute for Ivory Coast, who progressed to the quarter finals of the African Cup of Nations by beating Mali 1-0 tonight.

INTERNATIONALS : -  Juan Foyth helped Argentina to third place in the Copa America with a 90 minute performance in their 2-1 win over Chile in the 3rd/4th place play-off in Brazil tonight.

UNDER-23s : -  The Development squad will play Enfield Town at the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium in Donkey Lane, Enfield on Wednesday 31st July with a 19.00 kick off.  They will also play in the Ploufragan European Under-21 Tournament in France between 26-28 July prior to this friendly at Enfield.

Our home game against Newcastle United (which is difficult enough for the travelling fans to attend because of travel issues) will now kick off at 16.30 on Sunday 25th August (Sky Sports)
The Arsenal away game is now on now Sunday 1st September (kick-off 16.30) (Sky Sports)
The away match against Leicester City has had the kick off changes to Noon on Saturday 21st September (BT Sport)

RUMOURS : -   Spurs are reported to be close to completing the signing of Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb, but other clubs are showing interest in the Spanish Under-21 international.  .

TRANSFERS : -   Spurs completed the signings of Leeds United winger Jack Clarke for a fee thought to be around GBNP10 million (plus add-ons) and Olympique Lyonnais' 22 year old midfielder Tanguy Ndombele for a fee of GBP53.8 million that could rise to GBP62.8 million if certain conditions are met - a new club record.  Clarke has been immediately loaned back to his former club for the coming season after signing a four year deal and Ndombele has a five year contract with a one year option at the end of it..

RUMOURS : -   Tottenham are reported to have ramped up their interest in Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, with talks on-going with the Spanish club and the player said to be interested in joining Spurs.  The Daily Mail claims that Ryan Sessignon and Giovani Lo Celso will be the next arrivals at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, while other sources say the club are locked in a GBP12 million battle with Arsenal for Hull City striker Jarod Bowen.   The Guardian reports that AS Roma are said to be interested in signing Toby Alderweireld, with the possibility of Spurs adding some cash to bring midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo to N17.  The same newspaper claims that Tottenham are open to offers for Kieran Trippier and Danny Rose this summer.  Tottenham, West Ham United London and Arsenal are all reportedly interested in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, who would cost 35 million Euros.  The media in Spain claim that Spurs (and seven other clubs) are all chasing the signing of Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek.  Sheffield Wednesday are keen on signing midfielder Josh Onomah on a permanent basis.
