Federico Fazio looks like he wants to join AS Roma,

International Champions Cup match this morning. A

No new transfer tittle tattle today, but apparently
Christian Eriksen has turned down an offer from
Tottenham of a new deal, although he says he is happy to
stay at White Hart Lane. It is thought he is looking
for an increase in wages from the reported GBP30,000 a week
he is on now.
Nathan Oduwa's equaliser took Spurs Under-21s to a
penalty shoot-out against Stade Rennais, which the French
side won 2-1.

It has been revealed on the internet that the cause of the
hold up in Clinton N'Jie's loan move to Marseille is
down to the fact that he filled in his visa application
wrongly. Spurs are meanwhile looking to South America,
where Velez Sarsfield striker - 17 year old Maxi Romero
(didn't he record "Chase The Devil" ?) - is a target, with
Arsenal also keen on the Argentinian youngster.
Kieran Trippier has said he is not leaving Tottenham
this summer, while Federico Fazio has been offered to
AS Roma, as Spurs try to shift the Spanish central defender
and Tottenham are set to rival Liverpool for the signing of
Croatian Internazionale midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Some good injury news in that Jan Vertonghen may not
be out for as long as predicted after picking up an injury
in the Euro 2106 tournament. Spurs will assess the
Belgian defender's ankle on their return to England to see
if he could be fit for the first game of the season at
Everton. Christian Eriksen's viral infection
appears to have cleared and he might well feature in

Hugo Lloris has been nominated twice for saves he
made for France in the Euro 2016 tournament, against Germany
and Iceland, as part of UEFA's Save of the Season award.
Nabil Bentaleb is interesting Middlesbrough, but they
might not be willing to do business at GBP9 million, while
Alex Pritchard's asking price of GBP8 million has had
not firm takers as yet. The transfer of

been agreed, so it is just a question of time it is

Speaking in Australia ahead of Tottenham's friendly with
Juventus tomorrow, Mauricio Pochettino said he will
be staying at Tottenham amid rumours of the Argentine FA

The big story today is that Argentina want Mauricio
Pochettino as their new national team manager.
Well, he is actually one of three managers the
Argentinian FA are travelling to Europe to speak to.
So, a lot of journalistic licence has been taken.

Tottenham completed the signing of AZ Alkmaar striker
Vincent Janssen today for a reported fee of GBP17
million (or so the consensus reckon) on a four year deal.
With the club's second summer signing in the bag, attention
turned to other potential recruits with the names of

Spurs are to bid GBP38 million for Internazionale striker
Mauro Icardi according to some reports, while they are
also said to have an interest in Real Madrid midfielder
Mateo Kovacic, who could be leaving after one season,
with AC Milan interested also. With Vincent Janssen
having difficulty getting away from AZ Alkmaar, Tottenham
may look to River Plate striker Lucas Alario, who is
23 and would cost GBP12.5 million. He has an Italian
passport so would not need a work permit even though he has
