RUMOURS : -   It is widely reported that Tottenham have agreed a fee of GBP55 million up front with between GBP7 million and GBP9 million in conditional payments for Tanguy Ndombele with Olympique Lyonnais, but the player still has to agree personal terms.  The Sun on Sunday reports that Spurs looked at Burnley's young winger Dwight McNeil before moving to sign Leeds United's Jack Clarke.  The turf Moor club wanted GBP30 million for the England Under-20 man, with Clarke coming in considerably cheaper, having made only four Championship starts for the Yorkshire side.  A local reporter has announced that the deal to bring Clarke to Tottenham will see him make an immediate return to Elland Road for a season long loan.  Rumours coming out of Holland say Spurs and a number of other English and Spanish clubs are watching 22 year old Club Brugge winger Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld.   The Barcelona winger Malcom looks like he will be allowed to leave in the summer and Spurs and Arsenal are linked with a move for the Brazilian, but he would prefer a move to Borussia Dortmund.

UNDER-23s : -  Released striker Dylan Duncan has signed with Queens Park Rangers and will join up with their Development side.

RUMOURS : -   The Sun report that Spurs will demand the inclusion of 22 year old winger Marco Asensio from Real Madrid in the event that they want to sign Christian Eriksen, but other media articles indicate that Paul Pogba is their main target.  The Daily Telegraph carry a piece about Kieran Trippier, with Spurs expecting Juventus to come in for him and that they are willing to part with the former Burnley defender for GBP25 million.  Tottenham are said to be ready to return to Leeds United with an improved offer for young winger Jack Clarke.

INTERNATIONALS : -   Juan Foyth was an unused substitute in Argentina's 1-1 draw with Venezuela in the Copa America tonight, with Davinson Sanchez playing the full 90 minutes for Colombia in their 1-0 win over Qatar in the same competition.  In the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the US National team beat Guyana 4-0, with former Spurs defender and Academy coach Sam Cox coming on for Guyana as a 58th minute substitute.  Serge Aurier played 64 minutes of Ivory Coast's 4-1 home friendly win over Zambia.

RUMOURS : -   Tottenham are allegedly in talks to sign Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, but the Guardian claims that the two clubs are a long way apart in the value of the player.  Sevilla midfielder Pablo Sarabia was offered to Spurs, but the 27 year old was decided as an unnecessary purchase and Tottenham also turned down the offer by AS Roma to sign Serbian striker Edin Dzeko (formerly of Manchester City) for GBP18 million.  The Daily Mail reports that West Ham United London and Spurs are chasing Stuttgart defender Ozan Kabak this summer, with the 19 year old defender priced at GBP13 million.

NEW CONTRACT : -   George Marsh has extended his contract for two years.  The 20 year old midfielder made his first team debut this season and was in the Champions League final squad.

RUMOURS : -   AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini wants to join a Champions League club this summer with the Italian media claiming he is interested in signing for Tottenham Hotspur.  The 22 year old would cost GBP31 million, but with an attitude like that - leaving Roma because they didn't qualify for the Champions League - would he be the sort of player that Mauricio Pochettino would bring in to fight for the shirt ?  Spurs are reported to still be interest in PSV Eindhoven midfielder Hirving Lozano.   Manchester United and RB Leipzig have joined Spurs in their interest in signing Norwich City defender Max Aarons, while the Albanian Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha has caught Tottenham's and Arsenal's attention, being priced at around GBP22 million.
 
INTERNATIONALS : -  Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld played all of Belgium's 3-0 home Euro 2020 qualifying match against Scotland tonight.  France were away to Andorra and won 4-0 in the same competition with Hugo Lloris completing the game and Moussa Sissoko coming on in the 64th minute as a substitute, while Heung-Min Son played all of South Korea's home friendly 1-1 draw with Iran.

RUMOURS : -   The agent of Ajax's 22 year old midfielder Donny van Beek has said that the player fancies a move to either Manchester United or Tottenham.  Reports are linking Spurs with an interest in buying Marseille's Japanese international full back Hiroki Sakai, but at 29, he might not fit the profile of player the club are looking to bring in this summer (i.e. under 23), but he could offer good cover and experience.  Agents are busy this time of year, with Ivan Perisic's new representative flying to London to tout his client around at Spurs and Arsenal, with the 30 year old Croatian Internazionale midfielder has already been offered to Juventus and AC Milan should talks with his club over a stay at the San Siro fails to happen.  Again, the midfielder#s age may be a factor in whether Spurs go for him or not.  The sun claim that Paris Saint Germain might move for Hugo Lloris should they fail to sign Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, while other stories reckon Hugo will move to Old Trafford if de Gea does move to Paris.

SPURS XI FRIENDLY : -   Ebbsfleet United have had a pre-season friendly against Gillingham cancelled and a Tottenham Hotspur XI will now play the game at the Kuflink Stadium on Saturday 13th July with a 3.00pm kick-off.

RUMOURS : -   The Sun on Sunday carry a rumour suggesting that Spurs will offer GBP40 million for Bournemouth central defender Nathan Ake.  Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie could be available for GBP27 million, with Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham United London all interested on the player on loan at AC Milan.   Fenerbahce are interested in taking Vincent Janssen back to Turkey, where he was on loan previously, but it is not clear if this is a permanent deal or another loan.  Christian Eriksen is mooted as a replacement at Old Trafford if Manchester United sell Paul Pogba.  Celta Vigo midfileder Stanislav Lobotka could be a target for Spurs, but this could be unlikely, with the 24 year old having a GBP44.5 million buy out clause in his contract.  Napoli midfielder Amadou Diawara has said that he is prioritising a move to Tottenham this summer, but the 24 year old Guinea international could cost more then 40 million Euros.  The Daily Mail claim Spurs are not interested in signing 22 year old AS Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemens.

INTERNATIONALS : -  Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Danny Rose all started England's Nations League Third Place Play-off match this afternoon in Portugal, which they won 6-5 on penalties after the match ended 0-0 after extra time.  Rose was substituted after 70 minutes and Kane after 75 minutes.

JUSTIN EDINBURGH : -   The sad news was broken this evening that Justin Edinburgh has died aged 49 following a cardiac arrest hours after returning from seeing Spurs in the Champions League final last Saturday.  He was taken to hospital on Monday, but passed away this evening.  It is shocking news with his managerial career just having taken Leyton Orient back into the Football League and MEHSTG sends its condolences to all Justin's family, colleagues and friends at this very sad time.

RUMOURS : -   The Daily Mirror has Spurs down as offering GBP50 million for Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, potentially as a replacement for Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama, with the former said to be a target for Manchester United.  

INTERNATIONALS : -   Ben Davies played all of Wales' away Euro 202 qualifier against Croatia this afternoon which finished 2-1 to the home side.  Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both played the whole game for Belgium against Kazahkstan, winning the Euro 2020 qualifier in Brussels 3-0.  Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko both saw out the whole 90 minutes of France's 0-2 away Euro 2020 qualifying match loss in Turkey tonight.

RELEASED PLAYERS : -   Tottenham announced that Michel Vorm will be leaving the club after the expiry of his current contract.  Other players who will be laving the club are Dylan Duncan, Jamie Reynolds, Charlie Freeman and Tom Glover.  Connor Ogivlie has already left to join Gillingham.

NEW SIGNING : -  Tottenham have completed the signing of Notts. County's 17 year old striker Kion Etete, who was on trial with the club earlier this season.  A fee rumoured ot be around GBP200,000 was  paid for the striker who had made six first team appearances for the Meadow Lane club and he will join the Academy set-up at Spurs.

NEW CONTRACTS : -   Development midfielder Jack Roles and defender Japhet Tanganga have been offered new contracts until 2020 and 2021 respectively.

RUMOURS : -   Spurs are reported in Portugal to be leading the chase to sign 24 year old Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes for a fee of around GBP63 million.  Manchester United's signing of Daniel James from Swansea City was subject to a late intervention by Spurs, but that was unsuccessful, with the 21 year old Welsh winger agreeing a deal to move to the Old Trafford club.

INTERNATIONALS : -   Christian Eriksen was in Denmark's side for the whole Euro 202 qualifying game against Republic of Ireland in Copenhagen tonight that ended 1-1.  Victor Wanyama scored for Kenya in a 1-0 victory against Madagascar played just outside Paris tonight, while Heung-Min Son played all of South Korea's 1-0 home friendly victory over Australia.  Serge Aurier was in the Ivory Coast side for all of their 3-1 home friendly win over the Comoros Islands and Juan Foyth started for the Argentina side in their 5-1 friendly win against Nicaragua before being substituted in the 73rd minute.

AWARDS : -   Former Spurs Academy Coach and First Team Coach Chris Ramsey has been awarded a OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for his services to football and diversity in sport.

AJAX HOOLIGANS : -  Four Ajax hooligans have been jailed for 20 weeks each after they threw bottles, bricks and paving slabs at Spurs fans outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.  One of them received an additional eight weeks sentence for assaulting an emergency worker.

RUMOURS : -  Ryan Sessignon is reported to have turned down signing a new contract with Fulham and has indicated that he would like to move to Tottenham to work with Mauricio Pochettino.  The deal for the England Under-21 international could well include his twin brother Zeze Steven Sessignon.   Rumours also link Spurs with a swap deal taking Lucas Digne the Everton left back in exchange for Danny Rose plus cash.

INTERNATIONALS : -  Harry Kane was a 46th minute substitute and Dele Alli came on in the 105th minute, as England lost 1-3 in extra time against Holland in the Nations League semi-final in Guimares tonight.  Danny Rose and Eric Dier were both unused subs.  .
