Wolverhampton Wanderers are hoping to take Spurs full back Chris Gunter on loan for next season.  Any alleged interest from Tottenham in Lazio's Macedonian striker Goran Pandev is set to end in failure, as he looks ready to stay at the Serie A club.  Reportedly more successful is the move for Giovani Dos Santos, the 19 year old Mexican midfielder with Barcelona, who is supposed to be signing later this week in a £6.2 million deal rising to £8.6 million if certain criteria are met.  Almeria's Alvaro Negredo has been linked with two offers from Premier League clubs, one of whom is thought to be Spurs, although West Ham United and Newcastle United have also been put forward as the mystery clubs.  Things are further complicated as Real Madrid, his former club have a buy back clause in the deal and intend to take him back to the Bernabeu, just so that they can sell him on for a profit at £9.4 million.  That seems a standard fee for players from Real with Ruben De La Red, the midfielder, being the latest player who Spurs might be interested in, so says the Sky Sports website.  Borja Oubina of Celta Vigo said he is happy to move to White Hart Lane, but will not go on a trial.  The 26 year old Spanish international midfielder was on loan at Birmingham City last season, but picked up a cruciate injury in his second game and returned to Celta, but would like Spurs to make a firm offer for him.
