UNDER-19s : -  In the Terborg Youth Tournament, the Under-19s opened up their group with a 1-0 won over Ajax Cape Town with Phoenix Patterson scoring the only goal of the game.

RUMOURS : -   The Daily Star quotes a Spanish source that Spurs are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Marco Ascensio, but his buy-out clause is 700 million Euros apparently !!  However, Tottenham are reported as willing to offer 50 million Euros for AS Roma midfielder Nicola Zaniolo.  It is rumoured that the Juventus Sporting Director is to travel to London to speak to Daniel Levy about taking Mauricio Pochettino to Italy, with a buy-out clause of 30 million Euros said to be in Poch's contract.  A GBP20 million plus offer is reported to have been made by Spurs for Fulham's left sided midfielder/defender Ryan Sessignon.  An unusual story is linking Glasgow Rangers Academy with a move for Tottenham's Albanian Academy player Albert Rachi.  

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE : -  Should Spurs win the Champions League , a victory parade has been announced, for no other reason than for safety issues which have to be put in place ahead of may such event.  The coach will leave Northumberland Park near Sainsbury's at approx. 14.30 on Sunday 2nd June, taking about an hour to travel along Willoughby Lane, Lansdowne Road and the High Road to the front of the ground, where the players will display the trophy from a purpose built stage.  See the route and further information on the Spurs website.

UNDER-23s : -  Defender Connor Ogilvie has signed a two year deal in moving to Gillingham on a permanent basis. He had spent two season long loans at the Gills prior to making the move, becoming new manager Steve Evans first signing.

RUMOURS : -   Atletico Madrid have apparently made a GBP25 million offer for Kieran Trippier with the Daily Mirror hinting a replacement might come from our favourite shop at the moment - Barcelona - with Nelson Semedo available for just GBP30 million.   The Daily Star reports Spurs will be in contention with Arsenal to sign Manchester United central defender Eric Bailly, while a GBP10 million bid for 18 year old Leeds United wide midfielder Jack Clarke is said to be in the offing by Spurs.   Fernando Llorente is in demand, with Internazionale and Barcelona both interested in taking the Spurs forward to the continent, with Italian media reporting that Spurs and Arsenal have been watching AC Milan and former Liverpool winger Suso, who would cost GBP33 million.

The Guardian claim that Spurs have made contact with Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomes’ representatives with a view to signing the Uruguayan forward for GBP43.5 million.

RUMOURS : -   The Sun reports that the top six clubs are all looking at Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, who could be available for as little as GBP30 million.  In Italy, they claim that SS Napoli and Kieran Trippier's representatives have agreed terms on a deal, but that no official contact has yet been made with Tottenham.   The Daily Mail reckon Valencia are keen on Fernando Llorente, who may leave the club in the summer, especially as it has been reported that Tottenham missed a deadline on Saturday to extend his deal for a further 12 months.

MANAGER : -  Mauricio Pochettino's cousin said the Spurs boss would love to be the manager at Juventus, while other reports claim Poch has been in talks with the Serie A Champions for 20 days.

FORMER PLAYERS : -   Ex-Spurs midfielder Grant Ward has been released by Ipswich Town, with former Tottenham striker Simon Dawkins joining him on the way out of Portman Road and Swansea City have let winger Wayne Routledge go to become a free agent.

GROUND : -   Spurs will have to seek a safety certificate for the whole of next season, with work still needed on electrical and safety issues.  Haringey Council only granted a ground safety certificate for the few remaining games of the season, with some finishing items still needing completed.  To gain a certificate for the 2019-20 season, the club will have to prove the outstanding matters have been resolved to the Council's satisfaction.

MANAGER : -  Mauricio Pochettino has been targeted by Juventus to take over as manager after Max Allegri left the Italian club, because hiring former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has too much baggage attached, as he doesn't get on with the Juve chairman and also seems to be rumoured to have said he will take over at Internazionale. 

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE  : -  Mauricio Pochettino has had a one match ban suspended for a year by UEFA after being found guilty of delaying the kick off in the Champions League semi-final at Ajax.  Tottenham have been fined 10,000 Euros for the delay and 5,000 for a fan running onto the pitch in the Manchester City quarter final at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. 
UEFA also issued a paltry 2,000 Euros fine to Barcelona for *insufficient organisation" at Tottenham's visit to the Nou Camp in December, when Tottenham supporters were beaten by Police and security guards on their way in and inside the stadium.   The club have issued a statement about the lack of strong punishment and the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust are taking legal advice for an action against the Spanish club.  Having witnessed this first hand, it was a shocking situation, where fans were channelled from a street's width onto a single pavement and then herded through barriers with Police waiting with batons when they came through.  Anyone who tried to explain the crushing that was taking place was manhandled at the least or struck by the officials.  It was like going back to policing here in the 1970s, but even that wasn't as bad as the Spanish Police.  The fact that nobody checked tickets prior to being searched also breached UEFA's rules and nothing was mentioned about that.  For one of the supposed biggest clubs in the world it was nothing more than a shambles that showed any respect for the visiting supporters.  I imagine that when they came to Wembley, they received no such similar "organisation" issues.

MENTAL HEALTH : -  Danny Rose has shockingly revealed that one club he was talking to about a move last summer asked to meet him to make sure he wasn't 'crazy' after he spoke out about his struggles over the last few years.

RUMOURS : -   Spurs are reportedly interested in Boca Juniors midfielder Agustin Almendra, who is said to be the new Juan Riquelme,  The bad news is that Paris Saint Germain, Benfica, Internazionale and Napoli are all chasing the 19 year old too.   The press in Turkey carry a story that Celta Viga midfielder Okay Yokuslu is a target for Spurs and West Ham United London at just GBP7 million.  The Daily Telegraph has reported that Spurs have made a move for Nice right back Youcef Atal, who might cost GBP34 million, with Chelsea and Napoli also interested in the 23 year old.

RUMOURS : -   The Times claim Spurs are eying Leicester City midfielder James Maddison as Christian Eriksen's replacement should he leave in the summer, while The Mail suggests that Spurs are close to completing the signing of Ryan Sessignon from Fulham for GBP25 million.   The Mail and the Sun have a story saying that Real Madrid are offering Gareth Bale back to Tottenham on a one season loan deal for GBP 10 million and to pay GBP250,000 of his GBP600,000 a week wages.  The Sun also reckon Tottenham have been impressed with West Ham United London full back Arthur Masuaku, who might cost GBP10 million.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE : -  Spurs will screen the Champions League final at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday 1st June.  Tickets are priced GBP10 for adults and GBP5 for Juniors.  Ticket purchasing details will be released soon on the club website.

RUMOURS : -   Spurs are reported to have spoken to the agent of Andre Gomes, the Barcelona midfielder on loan at Everton, with a 30 million Euros bid ready to be made to stave off interest from Everton and Arsenal and a fee with Barcelona being agreed were rumoured later in the day.  Spurs are also named as a potential suitor for Barcelona's Brazilian winger Malcom.  SS Napoli are reported in Italy to have submitted a 20 million Euros offer for Kieran Trippier, while Spurs value him nearer 35 million Euros, with the Italian club also rumoured to be interested in Fernando Llorente and Danny Rose is being linked with a big money move to Paris Saint Germain in the summer, after a move broke down last year.  However, the left back has said he will go out with a bang in the Champions League final (I hope that means a good thing) if it is to be his last Spurs match.  Tottenham could move for Bolton Wanderers young midfielder Luca Connell, with the club close to administration, they may have to sell players to survive, but only a development fee would be payable for the 18 year old with Everton also interested in the Republic of Ireland Under-19 international.  Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez is a striker reportedly worth GBP43 million with Spurs and Liverpool willing to meet that price.  Press in the North-East are running stories claiming Tottenham, among a number of other clubs are interested in Newcastle United striker Ayoze Perez.  .

RUMOURS : -   Tottenham are linked with a move for 20 year old FC Porto full back Diogo Queiros.  It appears that the signing of Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is between Spurs and Juventus after Barcelona and Real Madrid have pulled out of the race for the French international.  Some reports claim that Fulham left back Ryan Sessignon has set his heart on a move to Tottenham in the summer.

FINANCES : -  Spurs have been ranked as the third most valuable club in English football, behind the two Manchester clubs and valued at GBP1,837 billion ahead of Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal.

FIRST TEAM : -   Jan Vertonghen is said to be being monitored by the Spurs medical staff and will have an independent assessment following the clash of heads with Toby Alderweireld in last night's match against Ajax.

RUMOURS : -   It is reported that Tottenham have had an offer of GBP36.8 million for Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes rejected.  The GBP30 million bid for Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes, on loan at Everton this season, is still on and the club are also said to be interested in Nice's Algerian defender Youcef Atal, rated at about GBP34 million and able to play in midfield too.  The Spanish press claim that Christian Eriksen has made a verbal agreement to move to Real Madrid, but Spurs could ask as much as GBP129 million for the Danish midfielder.
