The Daily Mail reckons that Spurs are going to sell off
Emmanuel Adebayor, David Bentley, Benoit Assou-Ekotto,
Heurelho Gomes, Tom Huddlestone, William Gallas and
Jake Livermore to raise the salary to keep Gareth
Bale at White Hart Lane.
Montpelier midfielder Younes Belhanda has been
leaking the fact that he would like to play in the Premier
League or in Germany
next season, with L'Equipe carrying the interview, which
will alert Spurs and Arsenal say the Daily Express.
Celtic's 21 year old Nigerian midfielder Victor Wanyama
is a target for Spurs, Southampton and Arsenal according to
the Daily Express. A price tag of £10 million was
mentioned, but Celtic are believed to want more than that
for the player.
Also in the Express, they claim Spurs and Chelsea will try
and sign Brazilian striker Hulk from Zenit St.
Petersburg this summer.

The news concentrates on Gareth Bale again, with the
Daily Mirror claiming that an £80 million battle between
Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United will take
place this summer as they fight over the Spurs player.
Meanwhile, the Daily Star reckons Real Madrid are confident

Tottenham drew 0-0 with the Jamaican National team in the
Bahamas overnight in a match to mark the 40th anniversary of
the Bahamas independence.
The Daily Mail report that Napoli have made an approach to
take Andre Villas-Boas to Italy as their manager.
Andros Townsend has been charged with betting
offences by the FA and the Spurs winger has withdrawn from
the England Under-21 team due to take part in the European
Championship finals this summer. The charges do not
relate to match fixing, but it i s said that they involve
large sums of money bet on other games contrary to the FA
Code of Conduct. Both Spurs and the FA will help in in
dealing with his gambling issue.

The Daily Express reports that Spurs are planning to buy
Internacional striker Leandro Damiao and
Spanish forward Roberto Soldado for a combined fee of
£36 million. The Brazilian international would cost
£16 million, while the Valencia man might cost up to £20
million. If Spurs cannot secure the signing of Soldado,
then they may aim to buy David Villa of Barcelona as an
alternative for £15 million.
In the article the Express claims that Scott Parker, Tom
Huddlestone, Emmanuel Adebayor, Clint Dempsey and
Benoit Assou-Ekotto are all players who might move out
of White Hart Lane should an acceptable offer be received.

Gareth Bale is set to sign a new contract with Spurs
worth £130,000 a week, but there will be an acceptance that
if a club comes in with a bid of over £50 million next
summer, the Welsh international will be allowed to leave, so
reports the London Evening Standard.
The Sun reckon Andre Villas-Boas wants FC Porto's
midfielder Joao Moutinho as his prime summer transfer
target, having missed out on him last year. The report
claims he could cost as much as £30 million.
In the Daily Mail, it is reported that Liverpool are keen on
Tottenham's left back Danny Rose, along with
Sunderland where he has played this season on loan.

Tottenham striker Andy Barcham has signed for
Portsmouth after being released by Scunthorpe United.
Tottenham's Under-21s lost 2-3 at Old Trafford against
Manchester United in the final of the FA Premier Under-21
League. Alex Pritchard and Jon Obika put
Spurs 2-0 ahead by the break, but United came back with
three goals in twenty second half minutes to win the trophy.

Andre Villas-Boas has been outlining his plans with
Daniel Levy to reshape the club and the way they operate.
A Technical Director is being sought to act as a recruiter
of new players and to work between the Head Coach and the
Chairman. It was also stated that the club
intend to do their transfer business early in the summer to
ensure that the side that is fielded at the start of the
season is as close to the one that the Head Coach wishes to
put out. AS Roma's General Manager Franco Baldini,
who Spurs tried to tempt to White Hart Lane a little while
back, is said to be favourite for the post.
Also in the papers are stories following up yesterday's news
that Spurs may make a move for Barcelona striker David
Villa, with the Mirror claiming that they will ship out

Gareth Bale has been voted the Barclays Premier
League Player of the Season.
The Daily Mirror claims that Gareth Bale is being
offered a £170,000 a week deal that will extend his current
contract by a year and that Spurs are convinced he will sign
it.
The paper also reports that Aaron Lennon is a
transfer target for Internazionale this summer and that
Spurs might clear the way for some signings by seeking
offers for Emmanuel Adebayor, Tom Huddlestone
and Gylfi Sigurdsson, as they all want more first
team football.
On the TalkSport website (and the Mirror echoes this rumour
too), Spurs are said to be close to securing a deal to bring
31 year old Barcelona striker David Villa to White
Hart Lane.
The Times claims that Spurs and Chelsea have made enquiries
about Southampton's England Under-21 left back Luke Shaw.
Today the Daily Express link Spurs to Watford's loan striker
from Udinese, Matej Vydra, with Arsenal and Fulham
also on his trail.

has recovered from a knock on his knee to be available for
Sunday's match, but Sandro (knee), William Gallas

last three weeks, Craig Gardner and Stephane Sessignon will
both be serving bans for this match, while Danny Rose
is ineligible because he is on loan from Tottenham and he

for Wigan Athletic 22 year old Scottish midfielder James
McCarthy, who they have been watching for a while now

Spurs fan and Olympic Gold and Silver medallist in sailing,
Andrew Simpson, died today following an accident in
preparation for the America's Cup off the coast of
California. MEHSTG sends it's condolences to his
