   The Sun reports that Spurs could use Wembley to stage their European games next season.
   Once more the fatuous rumours linking Manchester United with an interest in hiring Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager have started to re-cycle.

   There is plenty of transfer speculation involving Tottenham today.  The club are reported to have made an GBP8 million offer to Mainz for their Turkish midfielder Yunus Malli.  Staying in Germany, Mahmoud Dahoud, a 20 year old midfielder with Borussia Moenchengladbach, is said to be a €35 million target in the summer with a loan back for a season before he came to White Hart Lane on a permanent basis.  Another German name in the frame, sees Spurs and Arsenal battling it out for free transfer target 28 year old Roman Neustädter of Schalke 04.  Spurs are also reported by the Daily Express to be in for GBP20 million rated Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, with West Ham United interested in the Ivory Coast forward too.  Spurs youth player Charlie Hayford has had a trial with Sheffield Wednesday and the Owls are keen on signing the midfielder.  Ukraine winger Andriy Yarmolenko is keen on moving to the Premier League with Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool all keen on acquiring his services.  The most far flung rumour involves a Peruvian winger Cristian Cueva of Mexico's Toluca and the 20 year old would cost €20 million.

   Kyle Walker and Danny Rose started England's 1-2 friendly loss at Wembley tonight but had differing fortunes.  Walker helped create the England goal, while Rose handled to concede a penalty that allowed the Dutch to equalise.  Danny was substituted in the 58th minute, while Harry Kane (70 minutes), Dele Alli (82 minutes) and Eric Dier (84 minutes) came off the bench.
   Captain Hugo Lloris played the whole of France's 4-2 home friendly win over Russia tonight.
   Nacer Chadli played the 90 minutes of Belgium's friendly defeat in Portugal tonight, with Mousa Dembele coming on as a substitute after 80 minutes.
   Christian Eriksen played 81 minutes of Denmark's 0-1 friendly defeat by Scotland in Glasgow tonight.
   DeAndre Yedlin played for the USA in their 4-0 home win against Guatemala in their World Cup qualifying match in Ohio.
   Josh Onomah scored for England Under-19s in their 2-0 win over Spain in the Elite Group stage of European Championship qualification to take a place in the finals.  Kyle Walker-Peters also played all the 90 minutes for England.
   Tottenham are today being linked with AFC Wimbledon full back Ryan Sweeney, with other clubs also interested, but he has just signed a new deal with his club, while they are looking at a season long loan for Real Madrid's 21 year old Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic according to a number of reports, but this appears to be linked to a spurious story about it being part of a deal to take Dele Alli to the Bernabeu stadium.  Another player Spurs are allegedly keen on is Dutch 21 year old Sebastien Haller of FC Utrecht, as are a number of other clubs.

   Ben Davies played all of Wales' 0-1 friendly loss in Ukraine tonight.
   The Spurs Youth side playing in the Dusseldorf Tournament came fourth on the final day having lost 0-1 to Red Bull Salzburg in the semi-finals and then 0-2 to the Japan High School Selection in the play off for 3rd/4th place.
   Spurs are said to be keen on singing Bournemouth winger Matt Ritchie in the summer.

   Michel Vorm has been called into the Dutch squad to face England on Tuesday at Wembley.
   The Spurs Youth side beat hosts Fortuna Dusseldorf 1-0 in the youth tournament in Germany, with the goal scored by Keanan Bennetts, having lost 1-2 earlier in the day to  the Japan High School Selection, with Aramide Oteh hitting the Tottenham goal.  The win over Fortuna was enough to see the Youth side through to the semi-final where they will meet Red Bull Salzburg tomorrow morning.
   Harry Winks captained England Under-20s and played all 90 minutes of the 1-2 defeat by Canada at Doncaster Rovers FC today.
   Two goals from Marcus Edwards helped England Under-18s to a 4-1 victory over the Republic of Ireland at St. George's Park today, with the Spurs midfielder completing 90 minutes.  Alfie Whiteman was an unused substitute.

   Harry Kane, Danny Rose (making his debut), Dele Alli and Eric Dier all played the 90 minutes of England's 3-2 friendly win in Berlin tonight, with Kane scoring the first England goal and Dier netting the winner in injury time.  Kyle Walker was an unused substitute.
   Kevin Wimmer came on at half-time in Austria's 2-1 home friendly win over Albania today.
   DeAndre Yedlin played for the US national team against Guatemala this morning in his side's 2-0 World Cup qualifying win.
   England Under-17s beat Finland 1-0 in the Elite Group qualifying for the U17 European Championships at Leek Town.  Japhet Tanganga completed the whole game, Jaden Brown came on in the 74th minute from the subs bench and Samuel Shashoua was an unused substitute.
   England Under-19s were in action in Spain in the Elite Group qualifying for the U19 European Championships and drew 1-1 with Greece.  Josh Onomah came off the bench in the 74th minute, while Kyle Walker-Peters was a sub but was not called upon.
   Charlie Owens was an unused substitute for Northern Ireland's Under-19s in their 0-1 defeat to Holland in Uden in their European Championship Elite Group qualifier today.
   Tottenham's Under-19s drew 0-0 with PSV Eindhoven and then beat Borussia Dortmund 1-0 thanks to Anthony Georgiou's goal in the opening matches in the Under-19 Champions Trophy in Dusseldorf.

   Rather than new signings, the news today seems to involve the new deals on offer for Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen to keep them at the club, with other news hinting a new deal for Harry Kane might be in the offing to prevent him being tempted away by Manchester United (why ?).

   Tottenham are today being linked with a transfer involving Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid, who will buy the striker back from Juventus before selling him on again.  Spurs however face a lot of competition for the Spanish international.  There is also a lot more about Axel Witsel and Tyler Moore, as well as Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini, who West Ham United are looking at too. 
   Erik Lamela was an unused substitute for Argentina in their 2-1 away win over Chile in a World Cup 2108 qualifying match tonight.
   Christian Eriksen created Denmark's second goal in a 2-1 friendly win over Iceland in Copenhagen tonight, before he was replaced in the 62nd minute.
   Josh Onomah scored for England Under-19s in a 2-1 away win over Georgia tonight in their Euro 2018 Under-21 Elite Group qualifier, before being substituted in the 79th minute.  Kyle Walker-Peters  also played for England in this match.
   Jaden Brown played all of England Under-17s' 3-1 win over Turkey at Chesterfield today in their Elite Round qualifying match, with Samuel Shashoua coming on as a substitute in the 75th minute.
   Charlie Owens started Northern Ireland Under-19's Elite Group qualifying match against Poland in played Holland tonight.  Northern Ireland lost 2-1 with Owens having to leave the action after 26 minutes.

   Lots of media chatter about the old stories about Tottenham going for Barcelona defender Marc Bartra and Zenit St. Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel, but an interesting article about a four way battle for Lens' 18 year old English defender Taylor Moore appeared with Spurs, West Ham United (who he was with previously as a junior), Crystal Palace and Southampton.
   Marcus Edwards hit two goals for England Under-19s in Vienna as they beat Austria 3-2 in their friendly international and keeper Alfie Whiteman played the 90 minutes in goal. 
   A leak has revealed that Mauricio Pochettino has a GBP 10 million buy out clause in his contract, which he negotiated with Daniel Levy when he signed for Spurs.

   The club announced today that Nabil Bentaleb has had an operation on his left knee, injured in last week's Under-21 match against Leicester City and he will be out for six weeks, effectively ending his season.
   Cameron Carter-Vickers has not been included in the US Under-23 squad for the Olympic play-off match with Colombia with a back injury, which it is reported might rule him out for the remainder of this season, although he should be fit for pre-season.
   Today's transfer stories link Tottenham with Zenit St. Petersburg and Belgium international Axel Witsel and Vitesse Arnhem's 19 year old Albanian winger Milot Rashica, who is also being watched by Everton and Southampton.

   The mystery over Nigerian youngster Musa Yahaya may finally have been solved, as Portuguese club Portimonense revealed today that they have signed him on a five year deal with a €10 million release clause included in the contract.  Liverpool are willing to listen to offers for their captain and midfielder Jordan Henderson, with a price of GBP 25 million quoted.

   Mauricio Pochettino is keen on buying Michy Batshuayi from Marseille and is believed to be ready to sanction a GBP 15 million bid to get the player ahead of West Ham United and Arsenal.  Weird rumour of the day on the Net comes from ClubCall, who claim Spurs are looking seriously at signing Newcaslte United midfielder Giorginio Wijnaldum. 
   The Under-18s beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 7-3 at Hotspur Way this afternoon with goals from Jack Roles, Tashan Oakley-Boothe, Ryan Loft 2, Aramide Oteh, Joe Muscatt and Dylan Duncan.

   Tottenham's Under-21s beat Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium tonight with goals from Shayon Harrison 2 and Cy Goddard.
   The Under-21s home fixture against Sunderland has been moved to Monday 11th April at White Hart Lane with a 19.00 kick off.
   Spurs are alleged by the Anderlecht official website to have had scouts, among other clubs, to watch their Europa League match last night against Shakthar Donetsk, who won 1-0 on the night and 4-1 on aggregate.  It is believed that they were watching one of three players - Youri Tielmans, the 18 year old midfielder, 21 year old midfielder Denis Praet and Honduran winger Andy Najar.  According to TalkSport, Spurs are also back in the hunt for Sporting Lisbon forward Islam Slimani, who is 27 and would cost GBP 23 million.  Tottenham and Arsenal were due to watch 16 year old Portuguese midfielder Domingos Quina, who left Chelsea recently in his country's Under-17 international against Wales tonight. 
   Jan Vertonghen has been left out of the Belgium squad for their Euro 2016 warm up friendly against Portugal as he recovers from a knee injury, but Mousa Dembele, Nacer Chadli and Toby Alderweireld are all included.

   Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is to take up a post of Director of Football at Derby County until the end of the season and will also assist the Jordanian national side in their attempt to qualify for the next World Cup, along with former Spurs coach Kevin Bond.
   The Daily Mail reports that Spurs will take part in the first NextGen series of matches for three years, which will take place over three days in May with Barcelona, Ajax, Galatasaray, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Cape Town the other sides involved.

   It is claimed that 18 year old Nigerian midfielder Musa Yahaya is being closely watched by Spurs while he is playing at Portimonense in Portugal.  There is some confusion about whether he is a Tottenham player or not, as there was a lot of speculation about the club signing him two years ago, but because of work permit issues, he would not qualify for a professional contract at the moment.  Spurs are again being linked with Mainz's Turkish international midfielder Yunus Kalli, who could be available for as little as GBP 7.86 million in the summer.
   UEFA have charged Borussia Dortmund over safety concerns at the Europa League Round of 16 first leg match in Germany past week, when turnstiles were closed, Spurs fans crushed and pepper sprayed by Police, as the Bundesliga club created a highly dangerous situation with fans trying to enter the stadium for the match.

   TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TEAM NEWS : -   Mousa Dembele (groin), Jan Vertonghen (knee) and Clinton N'Jie (knee) are all unavailable for tomorrow's game at West Ham United, but Tom Carroll is back in the squad and Dele Alli faces a late check on his fitness after picking up an ankle injury on Sunday before the game against Swansea City.
   The big story in the media today is about 18 year old Marcus Edwards not signing a new contract with Spurs.  His current deal runs to the summer of 2017, when he would be free to leave, with Tottenham only getting compensation for training him since he was eight.  One of a group of excellent young players, Edwards would be one that Spurs would want to bring through into the first team.  There are also rumours that Spurs will be back in for the young Italian striker Domenico Berardi, but this might be being used as a device to get him to sign for Juventus.
   Spurs will take on Atletico Madrid and Juventus in Australia in a pre-season tournament in July, with the first match against the Italian side on Tuesday 26th July and the match against Atletico on Friday 29th July, with both games kicking off at 20.00 local time (21.00 UK time).
