05.03.2011 Spurs Under-18s earned a hard fought 3-2 win in the dying minutes, despite having the bulk of the play at Spurs Lodge.

Spurs had gone ahead in the 20th minute, as Alex Pritchard produced a neat pass to Paul McBride, who finished clinically across the Watford goalie.

The score became 2-0 when Oyenuga got ahead of his marker to meet Jack Barthram's right wing cross with a stooping header to beat the keeper with around 30 minutes gone.  Spurs keeper Jordan Archer had to be on his toes to keep out a couple of Watford efforts, but Spurs had controlled play well.

Spurs stepped off the gas in the second half and Watford battled back after the break to level the score at 2-2 with goals in the 60th and 80th minutes, but Tottenham were determined to put the score back in their favour and two minutes from the end, a left wing run by Kudus Oyenuga saw him come inside to hit a shot against the post and Alex Pritchard was on hand to knock the rebound into the net to make the final score 3-2 to Spurs.

Spurs were beaten 1-3 at Watford in the Premier Academy League.

The first half saw Spurs struggle to get their game together, but they held the Hornets score-less at half-time, but let a goal in from a dead ball situation and then the home team extended their lead with a couple of minutes playing time remaining.  However, Jack Barthram's long cross from the right wing saw Cameron Lancaster coming in to head the ball at the far post, back from where the keeper had come.

Any hopes of a late point were quashed when Watford went up the other end from the kick off and scored a third to round off their victory.

28.04.2010 Spurs crashed to a rare defeat in the FA Premier Academy League with a 1-3 away loss at Watford.

An early goal through a Watford counter-attack set Spurs back and the team never really started playing.  While some chances were missed before half-time, the Hornets caught Spurs on the break again to double their lead and then wrapped the result up with a third goal a quarter of an hour from the end.

The team featured a triallist in James Yeboah and an Under-15 player, when Shaq Coulthurst appeared as a substitute on the hour.

A brace of Harry Kane free-kicks helped Spurs to a 3-2 win over Watford in the FA Academy Premier League, which saw Tottenham take a 3-0 lead into the interval.

Twelve minutes in, a free-kick from Dean Parrett was headed back by Kane for Ryan Fredericks to score from close in.  Ten minutes later, Kane curled a 25 yard shot past the keeper from a free-kick to double the lead.

Spurs might have been 3-0 up, when Fredericks hit the net before realising he had been flagged offside, but Kane scored his second soon after, this time hitting a powerful dead-ball drive into the bottom corner of the Watford keeper’s net.  Just before the break, it was nearly 4-0, as Paul-Jose M'Poku crossed for Jesse Waller-Lassen to thump a shot against the underside of the bar, only to see the ball come down the wrong side of the line as far as Tottenham were concerned.

The Hornets forced a save from Jamie Butler just before the break and maybe this was a sign of things to come, as they took the initiative in the second half.  A 65th minute penalty got them back into the game and they reduced the score to 3-2 ten minutes later, when they got the ball into the net after a corner created a goalmouth melee.  Despite a spirited finish from the visitors, Spurs held on for the win.

08.11.2008 Spurs travelled to London Colney to meet Watford U18s and came away with a 4-0 win, despite having to wait 30 minutes for a delayed start and the game being played in driving wind and rain.

A Watford own goal after 10 minutes saw Eddie Oshodi put past his own keeper following a right wing move from Spurs and a 29th minute penalty from Ryan Mason put them into a comfortable position after Yaser Kasim's pass had put Jon Obika through to be hauled down in the box.

The closest Watford came to troubling Jamie Butler was a Michael Bryan effort, but the winger's 50th minute cross shot flew wide and Matthew Whichelow was also off target with a shot.  There were two goals added to the Spurs total in the second half from Paul-Jose M'Poku with a drive from just inside the penalty box after 75 minutes and Jonathan Obika rounded off the team's sixth FA Premier Academy League win of the season when a ball was not cleared and the striker shot past keeper Bo Antal with five minutes left.

17.02.2007 An injury hit Spurs played a fine game to see off Watford U18s at Spurs Lodge.

David Hutton's early corner saw Chris Casey rise highest to nod home the opening goal of the game, but Watford equalised from the penalty spot as they stepped up their game leading up to the half time interval.

Spurs took the game to Watford in the second half and earned a penalty when Takura Mtandari was brought down in the area and David Hutton slotted home from the spot.  Tottenham had further opportunities to add to their tally, but poor finishing and some good keeping kept the score at 2-1.

04.02.2006 Tottenham U18s turned in a sparkling performance to see off Watford at Spurs Lodge.

First half goals from Simon Dawkins, who beat his marker and slotted home on 20 minutes and Jamie Davis, who finished off a good ball through the middle put Tottenham 2-0 up.

The Hornets started the second half buzzing, but Spurs went further ahead through Andy Barcham, who scored a good solo goal by twisting his defender inside out and then putting his shot low across the keeper for 3-0 on the hour.  With ten minutes left, Spurs stepped up their game and completed the scoring with two more goals.  Substitute Richard Heller powered home a 25 yard shot and then right at the end of the match, Stuart Lewis drilled in a ball cleared from a corner to wrap up a 5-0 win.

13.11.2004 Spurs lost out to a lively Hornets team in a game at London Colney that the Tottenham team controlled a big part of the game.

Watford's direct approach made them look the most likely to score in the opening quarter of the game, but Spurs got a grip of the game and passed the ball well.

A moment of bad defending from a lobbed ball into the penalty area was not dealt with very well and Watford took the opportunity to score.  Spurs almost hit back when Charlie Lee struck a shot against the post from 25 yards out and the ball ran along the line and came out, which suddenly became an important escape for the home team, who went straight down the other end to make it 2-0.  A third goal followed to leave the score-line unevenly tipped in Watford's favour.

20.08.1977 Spurs Youth had a good start to their season with a 4-1 victory over Watford at Cheshunt.

Tottenham had an early lead when Steve Turner headed home from Garry Brooke's corner and the same player was the creator of the second goal for Mark Falco just before half time.

A penalty gave the Hornets an opportunity to get back into the game shortly after the second half got underway and the response from Spurs was to hit straight back through a Brooke goal to make it 3-1.

Despite the attention of a number of players around him, Falco's strength held them off to allow him to finish from 12 yards to complete the scoring in the South-East Counties First Division.

Tottenham's youth team thrashed Watford 7-1 at Cheshunt in the South-East Counties Division 1, with manager Pat Welton claiming it was “the best this season.”

The first goal of the game came from the boot of Chris McGrath who shot in from 20 yards out and then Gary Mabee bagged a brace to make it 3-0 at half-time.

Mabee then turned provider to set up John Margerrison to score, before Mabee completed his hat-trick. It was only a few minutes later when Mabee grabbed his own fourth, seizing on a fumble by the keeper from Les Boughey's shot. Watford reduced the arrears, but Spurs finished 7-1 winners when Gary Mabee took his own personal total to five for the match.
