1898 Jimmy Skinner, half-back 1919-1926, born.
1905 Harry Milton's last appearance for Tottenham.
1909 First match against Croydon City and the biggest win over them.

Biggest home crowd v Orient = 44,268

Jimmy Skinner makes his first Tottenham appearance at half-back.

1920 One and only match against Barking.
1947 Biggest away crowd v Barnsley = 24,715
1958 A significant day in Tottenham Hotspur's history as Bill Nicholson takes charge of the first team for the first time.  The win sealed his place in Spurs' history before his other great achievements and this remains the highest score in League football for the club.

Bobby Smith scored four goals - the equal highest for the club against Everton.

George Robb and John Ryden score their last goal for Spurs.

1959 Paul Miller, central defender 1978-1987, born.
1963 Ronnie Rosenthal, striker 1994-1997, born.
1975 Terry Naylor was sent off, but ten men Spurs earned a point at Villa Park.
1986 After waiting for over 70 years for a win at Anfield, then another one comes along the very next year.  Clive Allen's goal giving Tottenham another win away to Liverpool.
