15 minutes from the end, Carroll turned provider and Kane got on the end of his pass to slip the ball past the keeper as he faced up to the forward. A 4-0 victory was wrapped up in the 83rd minute, as Jesse Waller-Lassen squeezed the ball home from a tight angle.

side were overcome by Spurs Reserves in a 3-1 victory at Carrow Road.
The home team played well in the first half, but a mistake was punished by Paul Moran's shot that gave Tottenham the lead. Norwich had not made the most of their possession and were further behind just after half time when Spurs added a second.

Spurs had the chances to win the game, with Peter Collins heading against the bar and Jimmy Neighbour and Roy Woolcott both going close to grabbing a goal. Tottenham were grateful to Joe Peck, who twice cleared the ball off the line and in the closing stages, Steve Grapes hit the post for the Canaries.
