1899 Tom Atherton makes his debut at inside forward.

Art Rule scores the only goal of his Tottenham career.

1900 Jock Britton, goalkeeper 1925-1928, born.

1905 Herbert Chapman makes his debut  and scores a goal from inside forward.
1911 Percy Humphreys scores his last goal for Tottenham.

1922 Alex Hunter plays his last Tottenham match.
1933 Outside right Jimmy McCormick makes his debut.
1961 Spurs had some luck and were also on the receiving end in this semi-final.  Handballs at each end of the pitch were missed by the officials and Spurs progressed to the final (and history) courtesy of goals from Bobby Smith (2) and Cliff Jones.
