player resulted in the ball being transferred to the other end and Liverpool
grabbing an equaliser with three minutes remaining. Liverpool were inspired by their last chance
goal and in the extra time took the Cup from a demoralised Spurs team.
It
was the first Cup final defeat for Spurs in this country and also the club's
