          Notable Dates

1899 Tottenham's first meeting with Newton Heath, who later became Manchester United.
1903 John Barlow plays his final game for the club.
1905 Equal smallest crowd for an away match against Reading = 1,000
1905 Ellis Crompton scores his only Tottenham goal.
1922 Spurs' first meeting with Watford in the FA Cup.
1928 Tottenham's first FA Cup tie with Oldham Athletic.
1963  Tony Parks, goalkeeper 1979-1988, born.
1969  Phil Beal scores the only goal of his Tottenham career.
1970 The match was marked by a poor Spurs display, which prompted Bill Nicholson to drop some of the big names from the team and it was Jimmy Greaves' last competitive match for Spurs before being sold on to West Ham United.

2015 A late Christian Eriksen goal saw Spurs through to the League Cup final against Chelsea.  Spurs had been leading through Eriksen's first goal, before UNited came back to lead 2-1 on the night.
