          Notable Dates

1895 Bill Julian scores his final goal for Tottenham.
1901 First ever meeting with Bury and first FA Cup win over the Shakers, including two goals by Sandy Brown equalling the most scored by a Spurs player in a match against Bury.  It was the first time that the holders of the FA Cup had been knocked out by a non-league team.
1907 First ever meeting with Notts County with the first defeat in the FA Cup.  Biggest away defeat by Notts County in front of the biggest crowd for a visit there by Spurs.

Harry Clarke, centre half 1948-1957, born.

1929 John Knight plays his only Spurs game at centre half, while Bill Bann and John Richardson in the full back positions make their first appearances.
1931 Joe Blake, outside left 1904-1906, dies.
1935 David Levene plays the final game of his Tottenham career.

Fred Channell scores his only Tottenham goal, which was one to remember - a cracking 45 yard shot.

1938 Two goals from Les Howe equals the highest number of goals scored against Stockport County for Spurs in front of the lowest home crowd for a fixture between the two sides = 11,049
1946 Colin Lyman makes the last Tottenham appearance.

George Skinner gets his last Spurs goal.

1980 Stuart Beavon plays for Tottenham for the last time.

Tony Galvin scores his first goal in a Spurs shirt.

Mido, forward 2005-2007, born.

1988 Goalkeeper Bobby Mimms makes his debut along with forward Paul Walsh.
1989 Paul Walsh makes his debut in the forward line.
1991 Biggest away defeat to Wimbledon.

Gudni Bergsson scores his first Tottenham goal.

1999 Les Howe, utility player 1930-1946, dies.
2009 Tottenham's first visit to the KC Stadium in the Premier League and the first Premier League victory over the Tigers.

Jonathan Woodgate scores on his 50th appearance for Tottenham.

2014 Tottenham's first away defeat by Norwich City in the Premier League.

Kyle Naughton makes his 50th Premier League Spurs appearance.

2017 Tottenham are knocked out of the Europa League 3-2 on aggregate in front of a record attendance for the competition of 80, 465.
