Stockily built young striker who had a good scoring record in the youth sides at the club, but stepped up to the Reserves where he found things a little harder, having to leave to find a first team spot elsewhere.
Not a tall young man, Andy makes up for his lack of inches with a determined attitude and a battling approach that sees him put a lot of effort into the game. When chances do come along, he is calm enough in front of goal to knock a fair share of them in past the opposition's keeper.
Spent the 2007-08 season on loan at Leyton Orient, where he did well in the league appearances he made and gained good experience there. Returned to Spurs, but once more allowed out on loan in September 2008, this time to League Two Gillingham, where he went for an original three months, which was extended until the end of the 2008-09 season. However, on January 2nd his move was made permanent for an undisclosed fee.
