20.09.2008 | A single goal by Jon Obika
settled this match against Crystal Palace Youth at Spurs Lodge in the FA
Premier Academy League. The win keeps Spurs unbeaten in five matches and the well-drilled Palace side made it difficult for Tottenham to break them down, but by using the ball well and passing around the Palace players, a number of chances were created without being taken. The goal came on 65 minutes, when Adam Smith and Dean Parrett worked a good position on the right to pull the ball back for Obika to shoot home for the winner. Teams : |
05.04.2008 | A two goal lead for
Tottenham was clawed back by Crystal Palace's Under-18s in a thrilling
draw at Spurs Lodge. Tottenham took a 2-0 lead inside the first 20 minutes, with the first goal coming with three minutes on the clock. David Hutton raced down the left and crossed for Kyle Fraser-Allen to finish from a good position. On 20 minutes, Jon Obika scored after good work from Ryan Mason and Hutton, with the move starting from goalkeeper Oscar Jansson. For another 20 minutes, Spurs had the better of the contest, but with Palace being reduced to ten men Tottenham pressed on to try and score more, but the resolute visitors hit them twice on the break to leave Spurs Lodge with a point. Teams : |
11.03.2006 | The Under-18 side lost out
at Crystal Palace 0-1 in a match that saw them create and miss a hatful
of opportunities.
Two very good chances were made by Spurs in the first half, but having failed to take them, Palace hit the back of the net minutes after the interval with a cross being headed home. Spurs hit back making another three good openings, but all were spurned. Joe Martin, playing in a new centre-half position and forward Terry Dixon impressed as Tottenham returned to North London with nothing to show for their efforts. Teams : |

A 1-1 draw was the outcome of this South East Counties Division Two
match at Palace. Both sides had first half chances, but the Tottenham defence was stronger than in recent games. The second half started with Spurs on the attack, but a cross-shot was misjudged by Spurs keeper Martin Ware, who pushed it into his own net. A double substitution with Leon Townley and Simon Elliott coming on with 20 minutes left saw Tottenham attack better and Danny Hill produced an opportunity for Junior McDougald to finish well and earn a point for Spurs with three minutes left in the game. that morning in Edmonton and arrived to take part, replacing Stuart
Beavon at half-time in this South-East Counties Division One
