Arthur Archer .
Gerry Armstrong Bustling striker who could play centre-half signed by Spurs from Bangor (Northern Ireland) in 1975.  Stayed with Tottenham for five years making over 80 appearances before moving to Watford.  Went on to play for Real Mallorca (Spain), WBA and Chesterfield before taking up a player/coach role with Brighton in 1986 making nearly 50 appearances before leaving after going into the crowd  in a reserve game and head-butting a fan in 1988.  Played for Northern Ireland in the 1982 World Cup Finals.
Phil Beal Legendary Spurs defender who took over from Danny Blanchflower and spent over 12 years with Tottenham, playing over 300 times, before departing for Brighton in 1975, where he played only a handful of games in his two years on the South Coast.
Walter Bellamy Played for both Spurs and Brighton between the wars.
Ken Bennett .
Guy Butters Spurs youth product who represented the club between 1988 and 1991 before leaving for first team football.  Joined Brighton in 2002.
David Button Goalkeeper brought through the Spurs youth system and from 2008 to 2012, David went on a series on loans, but didn't make the first team at Tottenham.  Left for Charlton Athletic, then played for Brentford and Fulham before joining Brighton in 2018.
Martin Chivers Spurs legend, who scored over 100 goals in nearly 300 games after joining from Southampton in 1968. Left for Servette in Switzerland in 1976, returning to England two years later to play for Norwich City and then Brighton for the 1979-80 season. After leaving the Goldstone Ground, Chivers played in Norway and in English non-league.
Ray Clarke Youth product at Tottenham, who played in England, Holland and Belgium before signing for the Seagulls for the 1979-80 season before moving on to Newcastle United.
Robert Codner A youth team player in the 1980s, he went on to make over 250 games for Albion between 1988 and 1995 and captained the side too.

George Coomber Fourteen games for Spurs between 1917 and 1918 scoring two goals led to a move  back to Brighton, where he had started his career in 1913, went on to stay with the Seagulls until 1924.
Ian Culverhouse Started with Spurs as an apprentice in 1981, making one league appearance for the first team between 1982 and 1986 before ending his career at Brighton from 1998 to 2000.
Jack Davie A guest player for Tottenham during the War.
Alf Day A guest player for Brighton during the War.
Ally Dick The youngest player to play for Tottenham, Dick made appearances scoring times.  After leaving Spurs for Ajax, Ally passed through Brighton, but did not get any further than the subs bench.
Matthew Edwards Youngster at Spurs who never broke into the first team, went on to have the best spell of his career at Brighton as an attacking midfielder.

Chris Hughton Spurs legend who served the club as a player, coach and assistant manager spent a spell in charge at Brighton (2014-2019), taking them to the Premier League in 2017, before being sacked in 2019.
Robert Humphries A Spurs amateur before joining the Seagulls.
Leonard Hyde Played from 1899 to 1902, captaining the reserve sin his last season and after leaving Tottenham, he played for Brighton from 1903.
Sam Jennings Started at the Seagulls in 1925 playing 110 games in three years, scoring 65 goals.  Made one appearance for Spurs in 1918. 
Jim Kennedy An Albion player for the 1905-06 season and moved on, playing for Spurs from 1910.
Joe Kinnear Signed initially as an amateur in 1963 from St. Albans, Kinnear cemented his place in the Spurs side of the late 60s and early 70s as a solid right back.  Won an FA Cup, 2 League Cups and a UEFA Cup before moving to Brighton in 1975.  Played one season before retiring.
Billy Lane Was a Spurs player from 1924-26, playing 30 games and scoring 9 goals before a spell in charge at the Goldstone Ground in 1951, staying for ten years.
Charlie Lanham Played at the end of the 1890s for Tottenham and then played against us for Albion in 1902.
George Leach Played for both clubs in the 1900s and was also a Sussex county cricketer.
David Lee Came through the youth ranks at Spurs to reach the reserve team, but  did not make the first team.  Signed for Brighton and was released in September 2004.
Harry Lowe Joined Spurs from Albion for £75 in April 1914 and stayed until 1927, returning to White Hart Lane in 1938 as reserve team manager.
Junior McDougald While Junior never made the senior aide at Tottenham, Brighton gave him his full debut and he had a successful period as a goal-scorer at the Seagulls.
Neil McNab Signed by Spurs from Morton as a 16 year old in 1974 and played as an amateur before lining up alongside Hoddle, Ardiles and Villa in the Spurs side of 1978.  Couldn't dislodge the big names from the side and signed for Bolton later that year before joining Brighton in 1980.  Made over 100 appearances for the Seasgulls in his three years at the Goldstone Ground leaving to play for Manchester City.
Jeff Minton Hit a debut goal against Everton for Spurs and played two more games in 1992 before moving on and playing for Brighton on his travels.
Alan Mullery Joined Tottenham in 1967 and played 373 times with 30 goals in that time.  A Spurs captain who lifted the League and UEFA Cups in the early Seventies, he went on to manage Brighton twice - from 1976 to 1981 and from 1986 to 1987.

Dennis Orford Right winger who joined Tottenham from Albion in 1956.
John Piercy Tottenham's 500th player to be used in the League made nine appearances for Tottenham, before joining Brighton in September 2002.  He played 34 games for the Seagulls scoring four goals before having to retire in 2004 suffering from colitis.
Andy Polston When released by Spurs in 1992, the younger of the Polston brothers had a trial at Brighton and Hove Albion.

Mat Ryan Young Australian goalkeeper was on trial with Spurs and played a few pre-season friendlies with the Spurs XI side before joining Club Brugge and Valencia and then transferring to Brighton in 2017.

Billy Sperrin A guest player for Brighton during the War.
Gary Stevens Starred for Brighton in the 1983 FA Cup Final against Manchester United and Spurs paid around £350,000 for the defender/midfielder.  Enjoyed a good spell with Spurs winning the UEFA Cup in 1984, but injured by Vinnie Jones, he left the club for Portsmouth in 1990 and retired in 1992.
Peter Suddaby A player at Brighton, he joined Spurs as Academy Director in 1999.
Peter Taylor Speedy winger for Tottenham between 1976 and 1980, playing 140 times for Spurs and scoring 33 goals, he managed Brighton for the 2001-02 season before leaving over a dispute over funds for new signings.
Jimmy Townley Played for both Spurs and Brighton between the wars.
Frank Scott Walford Between 1889 and 1891, Walford kept goal for Tottenham as an amateur.  After leaving Spurs, he went on to be secretary-manager at Brighton from 1905 to 1908.
Johnny Wallis A guest player for Brighton during the War.
Danny Webb An Academy player at Spurs and was loaned to Brighton after leaving Spurs for Southampton.

Willie Young Lumbering defender, who was signed for Spurs by Terry neill from Aberdeen, but was onyl alimited success, following.
Bobby Zamora A goal-scoring hero at Brighton, Zamora obtained cult status, but was the prize asset that the Seagulls had to cash in on.  Signed at the start of the 2003-04 season, but never really made an impact and moved on to West Ham by January 2004, scoring one goal - ironically against the team he was to join.
