George Badenoch, outside right 1906-1907, born.

1897 First ever home game against Southampton.

Willie Almond's last game for the club.

1901 Spurs travelled to Villa Park for their first FA Cup semi-final against favourites West Bromwich Albion (who they were also meeting for the first time) and came away easy victors.  All four goals were scored by Sandy Brown, who maintained his record of scoring in every round of the competition so far.  Spurs were to head for their first FA Cup final where they would meet Sheffield United.
1905 David Copeland scores the last goal of his Tottenham career.
1907 Alf Whyman scores a hat trick to help Spurs victory over West Ham United.  The other goal was Herbert Chapman's last goal for Spurs.

Frank McDiarmid plays for Tottenham for the last time.

1911 Walter "Darkie" Tull makes his last Spurs appearance.
1912 Bert Bliss makes his debut at inside forward in Spurs' first home defeat by Manchester City.
1933 Joe Allen scores once on his debut (and only game for Spurs) from the inside forward position.
1939 First Home game against Tranmere Rovers and the smallest home crowd for a fixture against that side = 19,229

James Mair, half back 1896-1897, dies.

1959 Bobby Smith's second goal of the game gave him his 100th for the club.
1963 A FA Cup Sixth Round second replay took place at White Hart Lane between Southampton and Nottingham Forest on this day.  42,256 watched Southampton win 2-0 to go through to the semi-finals.
1966 Full back Joe Kinnear makes his debut.
1975 Glenn Hoddle signs professional forms with Tottenham.
1996 Steve Slade plays his final Spurs match.
2001 Sol Campbell makes his last appearance for Spurs, in a FA Cup semi-final against North London rivals Arsenal, which was bizarrely played at Old Trafford.
2006 Mido plays his last match on loan at Tottenham.
