1898 Ed Downie makes his last appearance for Spurs, as does David Black, who also scored his last goal for the club.
1904 Bert Badger plays his last game for Tottenham.
1910 Goalkeeper Tommy Lunn and outside left Arthur Newman make their Spurs debuts in front of the smallest away crowd for a visit to Bolton = 3,000
1921 Tottenham met Wolves in the FA Cup Final to be played at Chelsea's ground in front of King George V.  A thunderstorm just prior to kick-off left the pitch a muddy mess and a mazy run from 45 yards out by Jimmy Dimmock (quite a feat on the rain soaked pitch), ended with a shot that skidded past the keeper to give Spurs victory.
1927 Arthur Sanders scores his final goal for the club.
1938 Johnny Morrison scores a hat trick to help Spurs to a win over Southampton.
1955 Alf Ramsey plays his last match in a Spurs shirt.
1956 William "Sonny" Walters plays the last match in his Spurs career.
1960 Biggest away crowd for a visit to Wolverhampton Wanderers = 56,283
1977 Lee Young-Pyo, midfielder 2005-2008, born.
1980 Gerry Armstrong scores for the last time in a Spurs shirt.
1986 Bill Edrich, winger 1935-1937, dies.

1995 The London Monarchs American Football side played their first match at White Hart Lane against Amsterdam Admirals.
2011 Jermain Defoe scores his 100th Spurs goal and his 100th Premier League goal.

The goal (Tottenham's second of the game) was also the 1,000th scored by the club in the Premier League.
