1882 Tom Collins, full back 1910-1915, born.
1888 Billy Minter, inside forward 1907-1926, player-trainer 1920-1927, manager 1927-1929 and assistant secretary 1927-1940, born.
1898 Joe Knowles plays his last game for Tottenham.
1904 Arthur Turner finishes his scoring for the club with four goals.
1921 Tottenham's 100th League home win.
1927 John Richardson makes his Spurs debut at full back.
1949 Biggest home win over Grimsby Town and the equal highest total of goals in a match with the Mariners.  

Les Bennett and Les Duquemin both score two goals each to equal the most scored by a Spurs player against Grimsby Town.

1955 Half back Alan Woods plays his last game for Spurs in a  game which saw Spurs equal their biggest losing margin in a home match against Burnley.
1960 Tommy Harmer's last appearance for the club.
1965 Alan Gilzean's hat trick helps Spurs to a big win over Blackburn Rovers.
1986 A small crowd turned out for this match, which had been re-arranged due to the rioting and murder of a policeman on the nearby Broadwater Farm housing estate when the original fixture was scheduled.
